During the week lunch, very relaxing I think on the weekends though at night it’s going to be a little busy. The only turkey is just turkey legs and the way they’re made., food is kind along the Cajun line spicy the chicken fried chicken was tender tasted good. The mashed potatoes had a little bacon. A good flavor needed more gravy though only thing is I said the chicken fried she said two sides and then when I got the bill they charged for both sides. , I brought that up and they did take one off anyway., ,,,$$$

Was not easy to find, as the name has changed. The food was really good, and reasonably priced for a upscale dining experience.

Soooo delicious… beautiful restaurant in the East Side of a Fort Worth. The walnut apple pear spring salad was to die for, as was my lemon drop martini. Unfortunately, I ate so much of the salad and my kids Parmesan wings and that I didn’t have much room for my gumbo, but the few bites I had was awesome with just the right amount of spice. My husband had the Turkey leg with crawfish and dirty rice- also amazing with huge portions. The best part, though, is the friendly staff. Will definitely be back to the east side gem. Now, off to bed after that meal…

1. Name of this restaurant is now “Chef’s Corner”, recent change of ownership. I was told this is the same chef who ran the eatery inside the gas station at E. Berry and 820.

2. Not sure how much the menu has changed, but still selling “stuffed” turkey legs and other “soul food” fare. Have heard mixed reviews, but decided to give it a shot.

3. My son and I ordered the must expensive turkey leg item on the menu, to-go. Got it home and was disappointed. Not much “stuffing”…dirty rice, crawfish, and sausage were in very short supply on both orders; turkey legs weren’t fresh.

4. Others in our party got the fried catfish and said it was good; chicken fettuccine was just ok.

Went on a Sunday afternoon about 4pm, no wait. As an appetizer I got boudin balls. I should have tired the hot Cheeto ones but they were good! For my entree I got the stuffed turkey leg with dirty rice, sausage, and shrimp and it was TASTY!! The turkey was tender and flavorful. There is this cream sauce that is really good but it’s a little salty. Definitely a spot to try and will be back to try more.

They also have TVs on one side and a dining room on the other side and you have an option to choose.

8/10

Nice relaxing atmosphere The food presentation was very good and appealing. I would have given it a five-star rating for the foods, but my nephew’s order was incorrect; the cook had to correct the order twice. The fried catfish had just the right crunch and seasoning. The cole slaw and salad were good. Expect to spend between $20 and $30 on a meal. Our waiter, Terrance, was entertaining and friendly. I will be going back for the food and the entertainment.

Tried this restaurant for the first time for my moms birthday. We had a great experience. Food was delicious and it didn’t take too long. Customer service was great. Jason and his crew did a good job. He made sure all requests were met and everyone had what they needed. I’d recommend for a leisure night and check out the Jazz Lounge next door- our receipt got us in free!

Service 3/5 – Was not acknowledged on arrival. Diddnt feel welcomed. Waitress (Tamiya) I believe was nice. Took my order and got everything correct.

Atmosphere 5/5 beautifully decorated and great vibes . I loved the scenery.

Food 3/5 – Turkey legs were nice. Kinda dry but tasted okay… while spending $30 I expected more flavor. My husband enjoyed it ❤️

Overall 4/5 – Prices are a bit steep. Won’t hurt to try it. Food is good.

I know everyone comes to the turkey den for turkey legs, but I did something a bit usual and got a salad.

PROS:
Tons of seating both booths and tables
Great wait, staff
Soild well-made cocktails
Good food
Ample amount of parking

CONS:
The place feels like a cafeteria, and it needs an atmosphere lift.

Overall:
I’ll definitely order to go and have a drink at the bar while I wait next time.
