Additional dishes we tried:
– Ghee Karam Masala Dosa : very large portion, a rice crepe filled with potatoes (absolutely delicious but on the spicy side – if your typical spice level is mild)
– Butter Rotti : one order comes with 2 (absolutely delicious)
– Butter Chicken : the creamiest butter chicken I’ve ever had , not oily at all and the flavor was 10/10 (this dish comes with a side of white rice)
The owner was very kind. He took the time to review the menu with us and checked in often. One thing to note, the restaurant is fairly new and they’re working on their prep time. The food is made to order so your wait time may be on the longer side. However, it’ll be worth the wait.
The kitchen and restaurant were impeccably clean, which made the experience even more pleasant. The warm service and welcoming atmosphere stood out. We’re already looking forward to visiting again to try the non-veg dishes!
We came here as the local temple canteen was closed and this was the closest and highest rated Indian restaurant in the area.
Don’t be fooled by the exterior location/ ambience cause once inside, your tummy will thank you for the delicious meal it’ll get to experience. After checking our heat/ spice tolerance level, based on the suggestions of the owner Harish, we got the Ghee Karam Onion Dosa, then the Chapati with Potato and finally the goat curry with rice and y’all everything was so delicious! Also the Masali Chai helped chase it all down for another win.
The crunch of the onion and the excellent coconut-peanut chutney of the dosa was brilliant. I massively enjoyed how tender the goat was, as well as the curry masala the meat was marinated in, and which I sopped up with pieces of roti.
We all enjoyed the potato & chhapti tiffin so much, got another one! Also to note that each dish came with raw onion & a piece of lime! Would definitely come back and try some more dosas too.
One thing to note, this resto does use bamboo paper plates and plastic cutlery/ cups so it’s very much home style ambiance with the food really taking home the prize!
Very tasty and sumptuous food with generous portions as well. Trt once and won’t be disappointed!
We recently enjoyed a vibrant South Indian meal that was a true celebration of flavor and texture. We also ordered catering with them and everything tasted great!
Dahi Puri: Crisp shells filled with sev, chutneys, yogurt, carrots, and coriander—perfectly balanced, refreshing, and addictive.
Punugulu with Chutneys: Golden, crunchy fritters paired with fresh peanut and onion chutneys—an ideal tea-time treat.
Vegetable Pulav with Palak Chole: Aromatic pulav reminiscent of ’90s Indian weddings, paired with earthy, mildly spiced palak chole—a comforting and hearty combo.
Must try catering for vegetarians:
Kobbari Annam + Vankaya masala
Chapathi/Naan + Paneer butter masala
Pulihora home style
Mango Dal
Tindora/Bhindi pakodi fry
Roti Pachadi
Verdict: A homestyle take on street food that delivered bold, authentic flavors. A must-try for lovers of South Indian cuisine.
We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant, and a big part of that credit goes to Harish, the owner. From the moment we walked in, he made us feel truly welcome with his warm smile and personal attention. His hospitality is outstanding — attentive, kind, and genuinely caring about every guest’s experience.
The food was absolutely delicious, full of authentic flavors, fresh ingredients, and perfectly balanced spices. Every dish felt thoughtfully prepared and served with pride. Harish personally checked in to make sure everything was perfect, which really sets this place apart.
It’s rare to find a restaurant where both the food and the hospitality leave such a lasting impression. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food and an even greater host. We’ll definitely be coming back!
Okay I just finished one of their desserts and have come back to edit the review again. Their gajar ka halwa is amazing, especially with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. It isn’t on the menu, but the owner of the restaurant mentioned it to us, and we ordered it. It was flavorful, decadent, and not too intensely sweet (which is how I like my desserts). It was so amazing, we decided to order their mango kesari, and that was outstanding as well. Warm, spiced, and complex, with a very strong and natural mango flavor. Overall, just spectacular.
