We went there last night and ordered the coconut steamed chicken. By the time we finished our meal, I suddenly noticed a cockroach sitting on my plate. I was shocked, and then I saw more cockroaches on the floor.

To be honest, it was my first time visiting, and unfortunately it will probably be my last. I do want to bring this to the owner’s attention because hygiene is extremely important for any restaurant and should always be a top priority. If you want customers to keep coming back, maintaining proper sanitation in the restaurant is essential.

The waitress was very nice and polite and immediately apologized to us. They refunded the meal, which we appreciated. However, the experience still made me feel very uncomfortable even after I got home.

I hope the management will take this feedback seriously and address the health and sanitation issues as soon as possible

I had such a wonderful experience at this Chinese restaurant featuring authentic Hong Kong Cantonese style cuisine. Every dish was absolutely yummy and full of flavor!
The dim sum was fresh and perfectly steamed, the roasted meats were tender and juicy, and the stir-fried dishes had that amazing wok hei taste that makes Cantonese food so special. The flavors were balanced, not too heavy, just comforting and delicious.
The service was warm and attentive, and the atmosphere felt welcoming and cozy. If you’re craving true Hong Kong Cantonese flavors, this place is definitely a must-try. Absolutely love this place! The food is consistently delicious — especially the traditional Chinese dim sum dishes. They’ve recently added a coconut soup base hotpot, and it’s a total game-changer! The broth is rich, flavorful, and pairs perfectly with all the fresh ingredients.
There are tons of hotpot options to choose from, all at a great value. The service is top-notch — super friendly and attentive. You can tell they really care about the customer experience. Highly recommend for both dim sum lovers and hotpot fans!

Very disappointing experience. The food was extremely oily, and the fried noodles had more vegetables than actual noodles. The overall cleanliness of the restaurant was poor — the atmosphere felt dirty and unkempt. It also took more than 15 minutes just to receive one plate of noodles, which turned out to be one of the worst I’ve ever had. Based on what I saw, I seriously question the hygiene standards in the kitchen. I definitely won’t be coming back.

First time trying coconut chicken hot pot and I loved it! The ingredients were fresh, the flavor was light yet delicious, and the price is very reasonable (around $30 per person). Veggies are unlimited, which is a big plus. Definitely coming back again!

Hands down the best clay pot rice in Washington, especially the yellow eel one. It’s super rare to have clay pot rice in the US, very surprised that they are making such authentic one here. This dish is not hard to make, but very difficult to have such good taste. Balanced flavor, fresh ingredients, perfect crisp for the bottom layer of rice. They also have a lot of other authentic dishes which we will being going back and try them all out. You can clearly tell the skill of the cook from the flavor of just this one dish. We also had some veggie and fish, they are also very good, fresh, balance flavor.

The sauna chicken is amazing! Definitely try the coconut chicken soup + sauna chicken combo. The two servers wearing glasses were so gentle and friendly.

Great little place. Wide variety of dim sum options or you can go for a hot pot (where u cook in a pot in front of you). Seems to be a great selec there too. We had the ha gow, shu mai, eggplant w shrimp, spare ribs, fried squid, all absolutely delicious. Also had the last cream buns, they were to die for! We will definitely be back!

I wouldn’t say I’m a dim sum expert, but I can definitely say I’ve had better. Food is hit or miss, nothing really in between. Menu items are limited. Service is fine.

Do you love Dim Sum? Don’t like dealing with parking in the International District? Well here is your salvation! HK Dim Sum is the best of the I-District without all the crowds and parking hassles.

From siu mai, to bao, to ha gow, they have it all, fresh made to order. They even have sesame balls filled with lotus paste, a rare find! On top of that they have the traditional menu items, as well as a Chinese barbecue station, where you can duck, char siu pork, and roast pork, and a variety of to go meals.

Lastly the employees are really nice and helpful. Many a time I have gone in and said something like “I don’t know what it is called, but it is a fried triangle with shrimp and chives inside,” and they helped me figure out what it is! Oh, did I mention the live seafood tank?

They also do to go orders, if you want to have Dim Sum at home while watching movies. Highly recommend!
