My husband and I shared our 30th wedding anniversary at Desi Vegas Steakhouse. It was amazing! I did my reservations over open table and made several special request that were followed to a tee. We ordered the amazing confetti cake to be brought out with a new wedding sets and that was a Wow moment. We usually go to other famous steakhouses in New Orleans but we were highly impressed with Desi Vegas and will be back. Our hostess was amaizing she took care of seating us in a quiet corner. Booth 13 is wonderful. I cant say enough about the lady who waited on us and the SEVERAL others waiters. Wow we had a wonderful night and we are so hapoy we chose them to celebrate our anniversary with them. We even had a Happy Anniversary card on our table. Go visit them soon and you wont regret it. Best steak I’ve ever had. Phenomenal service by Devante and Sadie. Delicious appetizers: Fried artichoke hearts with crispy snacky snacks and crab cakes. Generous drinks. But the steaks were tremendous. NY strip with blue cheese and petite fillet were cooked to perfection. We will most definitely be back. A great way to celebrate our 31st anniversary.

Let me tell you what!!! I went to Desi Vegas COVINGTON location. Had one of the better dinners when it comes to a steak house with this type of format in a nice long while. First off was welcomed at the front door by the host and manager Justin. They brought me to a nice table by a window. Ambiance of the dining room floor hit me immediately as very upper class romantic and elegant to say the least. Seemed like I had 3 servers who all did a magnificent job. Never seen a restaurant on the Northshore do actual gang service. Keep up the great work with the management. Now let’s talk about the food. Next level is the only way to put it. Chef is from the are I got his name. Marlon, he has it going on it that kitchen as my food was spot on the entire meal. It goes like this. They provide you with a complimentary meat ball with fresh garlic bread. Then my appetizer Who Dat Shrimp, seafoods stuffed bacon rapped shrimp with this awesome Asian glaze type sauce on the bottom and love drizzled among. Filet with crab Ribeye with shrimps!! Excellent oh and the lobster spot on. Will definitely be back. Keep up the great job.

We walked in and the place smelled distinctly of bleach and mildew. However, it was pretty and we were warmly greeted. By far the best thing going for this place is the service. Every single front of house person was great, I wish the food reflected a fraction of the level of the service. There were a few good thing on the menu the turtle soup was wonderful but I paid 44 dollars for a filet that didn’t even make it to mediocre quality wise. It was cooked well but it just did not taste good. We won’t be back. For the 300 we spent for dinner for two I left without knowing I HAD to have anything I ate again. Long story short it’s just not worth it. I’ve had better steaks at Texas Roadhouse.

It was my first time here, and I’m surprised no one has mentioned this, but it was like walking into a skating rink. The floors are not very forgiving, and they did make a point to let us know before walking in.
Service was truly an experience, everyone was very attentive and kind. You really are made to feel special. 10/10 they truly do have amazing service that delivers a 5 star experience.
Atmosphere was loud, lively, cold, and dark lit. Great for a party.
Drinks are very heavy handed, I didn’t taste anything but pure alcohol, but some people might love that. I suppose for the price, I had higher expectations on that, but the presentation was beautiful.
Pork belly was absolutely delicious, eggrolls were meh. They did mess up my order, but immediately fixed it. The Ribeye had a lot of fat around it, I love a good marbling, though for the price I’d hope it to be more meat than fat, and it was super peppery, but I ate it. Desserts were okay. It’s great for a show, but no different than anywhere else.
I believe our table spent about $700, I don’t feel it lived up to that price food wise, but atleast they’re making money. The servers are top notch.

Phenomenal experience. Took my wife for her birthday and it was our first time dining there. Everything was so dang good. Every staff member was super friendly. They even had a birthday card for my wife waiting for us. The garlic bread was some of the best I’ve ever had in my life. We had to take some to go. The sweet tea was house made and delicious. They brought us each a meatball to try before everything, and they were a nice precursor to an amazing meal. We had mozzarella en carrozza to start and it was amazing. Crispy on the outside, melted on the inside, and the homemade marinara sauce did not disappoint. My wife loved the mushrooms. I dont personally care for mushrooms but even I thought they had great flavor. The Mac and cheese was perfect. Every bite had it all. You must try it. The petite filet mignon was absolute butter in your mouth. The sear was great and flavor was so good. The Ribeye was so amazing as well. Both steaks were so juicy and flavorful. Worth every penny, cant wait to try the flaming smore next time.

@tableformaddie on instagram!! I tell you what, i did not know how to rate our experience because a few different things happened in a few different categories.. first we made our reservation for 8:30 and we werent sat until 8:45. Upon seating we started noticing a few guest did not follow the dress code- someone literally had basketball shorts on, but anyways.
We waited FOREVER FOR EVERY SINGLE THING.. the place didnt seem that busy and when i mean wait, i mean 30 minutes plus.. we got there at 8:15 and did not keavew until 11:15 or later. Crazy if you ask me.. i guess i would recommend ordering your food right when you sit down lol. But however, the food realky waas great!! Steak egg rolls were 10/10 paired amazingly with the pickled bell peppers!! The crabmeat augratin was absolutely delicious- so freash, sweet creamy and i love when crab meat taste sweet and not fishy!!! The complimentary meatballs they give you is what made me make my decision on choosing the chicken parm for my entree! My boyfriend got the ribeye- he noticed it was cooked more medium rare than medium but didnt complaim- i found it couldve been a little more seasoned.. dessert was definitely a 0/10 tho.. the flaming smore. While it puts on a good show the alcohol content was so overpowering we could barely eat the dessert so we were disappointed with that because everyone loves something sweet after dinner!!

I had such an amazing time at Desi’s. The food was rich and savory. They had an amazing drink selection as well as Mardi Gras specialty cocktails. I got the purple justice which was absolutely delicious. Our waiter, Carson, was so kind and attentive. The manager even came to our table to check on us.

Best dinner ever. The steak was so good I didn’t need any sauces. The bar tender was so nice, and staff was so amazing overall. Their crab cakes are so mouth watering too.
Definitely a place I want to go again. Not the place for kids for the most part, but good for adult celebrations.

Impeccable: The term captures the dining experience.
From the time we entered the establishment to celebrate Valentine’s Day, the attentiveness was on-point.
The entire wait staff were perfect- not overbearing, but highly aware of our needs inconspicuously. We didn’t have to ask for anything really. The holiday cocktail menu was cute. The I Love LYCHEE had be in a chokehold while I was serenaded by pianist who set the mood for love in an mature, intimate, upscale environment.
The cuisine was expertly plated, prepared, & presented.
Desi Vegas is my favorite fine dining experience, and I was reminded why on this visit.
