If you’re in Eugene and haven’t tried Mr Dumplings yet, you’re missing out.
The dumplings are absolutely incredible, especially the soup dumplings IMO! Even my picky kids tried everything and loved it ALL! You can tell the ingredients are fresh and the recipes are thoughtfully done. Everything was fresh, full of flavor, and perfectly cooked. The green bean dish was the best I’ve ever had, portions hefty, and nothing tasted heavy or greasy. Every bite had us surprised!
What really set this place apart tho is the staff. They were genuinely kind, welcoming, and accommodating. You can feel that they didn’t just care about the food but also about the people walking through the door and experience you have.
Overall Mr.Dumplings was one of my new favorite places to go! Great portions, fair prices, amazing service, and unique flavors! This is easily one of my favorite spots in Eugene I’d recommend to anyone!

FOOD- The food was nice and flavorful. The dumplings and buns stood out. Overall, the entire meal was mild spice level, making it a great choice for anyone looking to enjoy Asian cuisine without the spice. Also have good vegetarian options.
SERVICE- Service was quick, and the staff was friendly and attentive.
AMBIENCE: The restaurant had a nice ambience with a clean and well-maintained area. The tall walls added a spacious and modern touch to the overall setting.
PARKING: There was plenty of free parking available in a nearby lot, which made the visit very convenient.

Stopped here in a quick trip over to Kendall for car repairs. Delighted to find a super yummy lunch spot that has the perfect dumpling selection, wonton soup and soup dumplings. Loved all three dishes! Will come back again and try more soon.

Fantastic food. Great service. I stopped here for an early (11:00 AM) lunch while my car was being serviced at a Kendall dealership nearby.
I ordered hot green tea (it was delicious – maybe the best I’ve ever had), and Kung Pao Chicken (with vegetables cooked just right so they were delightfully bursting with fresh flavor and had a great texture).
I also ordered steamed barbecue pork dumplings dumplings. Their taste and texture were great.
I brought half of the Kung Pao Chicken and 3 of the 4 dumplings home to share later with my wife.
A side note: It seems like most Chinese restaurants in Eugene have poorly cared for restrooms. The men’s room here was remarkably clean. It and the restaurant are wheelchair accessible.
Free parking.
There are booths that will seat 4. I’m not sure if It’s possible to have more than 4 sit together. There are also tables outside.
I’m definitely returning, and bringing my wife to introduce her to it!

I live nearby, and Mr. Dumpling is within walking distance of my studio. I have been in a few times now, and consistently leave more impressed than the last visit. I don’t think there’s an item on the menu that isn’t absolutely delicious. The BBQ pork tastes almost candied and I’ve never had better fried rice.

Let me start by saying that you’d never expect the level of detail & skill that goes into the creation of these dishes. They treat each offering as a work of art. They suggest the best ways to enjoy the meals and do so with an attentiveness and understanding we’ve all forgotten. Here, you are a welcomed guest. They are actively excited to share their cuisine with you and can’t wait for you to be overwhelmingly satisfied. They even provide little punch cards for a free item of your choice on return visits. This place is a gem! Not only are these dishes near perfect representations of the Asian plates in the countries where they were perfected, but they are available at multiple price points! These items are the most affordable in town and simultaneously the best you can find here! Come; enjoy; savor; and return for more!

The food was really good! We are vegetarian. There was at least one vegetarian option in each category, which was really nice. We had Veg. Dumplings, Veg. Bao Zi, Veg. Fried Rice, and Garlic Eggplnt with rice. The staff were kind. They were pretty busy. Things that could be improved on: server could check in to make sure we had everything we needed. I don’t think anyone stopped once after we received our food. It was hard to catch someone walking by. I could have gotten up and walked to the reception or kitchen area and asked for a fork but was able to catch someone walking by eventually. Also the waitress forgot to bring us the green tea we ordered. It wouldn’t have been a problem if someone had stopped by just to check in. So that is what I’d work on for business advice. This wouldn’t stop me from going back though. The food was really yummy.

Ate here last weekend! Wow, definitely delicious Chinese comfort food! A little oily, but in a good way. We had 2 types of bao, the dough was fluffy and chewy! Really great dough! The fried fried and tge noodles were had were amazing. Everything was cooked perfectly. The rice was al dente, the noodles weren’t overcooked! It was a fantastic takeout experience. Going into the restaurant, the owners were kind, nd welcoming! The food was packed well!
