Heard good things about Big Daddy Que, so I tried it out. First, the place is clean, new and nice and open. The people were very friendly. As far as the food, it’s pretty good. The ribs and the pork were well-cooked, but not really seasoned. Without adding sauce, the meat was very bland. The sweet sauce was pretty good, but not great. The fries were pretty mushy. Again, not bad… just not great. I went to Kenny’s Rockin Ribs last week, and that was much better

Hey guys,
Went to Big Daddy Que to get some brisket for my husband and mother. First time there, the place just opened, so it is super clean of course, and smells like meat. Good thing for some folks, but I’m vegetarian so take it from there. Gonna be honest. My mother did not like the brisket. She said it was just okay and didn’t eat any, after she tasted it. My husband liked it. He didn’t like the honey mustard sauce, and said it was too vinegar foward for him. He loved the fried okra, thought the sweet mesquite was too sweet, and ended up liking just the plain barbecue sauce. Are they a bit pricey? I will upload the pics and you decide. I paid twenty-five dollars for what you see in the pictures. What I like about this place is that it will be a hot spot for families and millennials. It will be a hangout for high school students, and a great place for seniors. The location is good and it’s easy to get in and out of the parking lot. Hope this helps. Check out the pics. God bless.

Awesome awesome awesome!!! Loved the food loved the personable employees cool looking place! Only reason it didn’t get full five stars is smoked sausage was a little undercooked but they asked me what I wanted to replace it. I asked for the pulled pork it was on point!
Need better menus which I’m sure will come in time.

The restaurant opened only a few weeks ago, and it is a new regular for lunch for the family. We’ve had the big daddy sammich, the miniature version and the hotdogs, and we have loved everything. The cobblers have been wonderful too (peach and cherry. )

For the decor, it looks like an old time, country bbq restaurant, with neat accents on the walls and the big old piece of would in the middle.

While, we love the indoor decor and the food, I have to give a great shout out to the food flavor and the wonderful back porch.

Finally, each time we have visited, we have received very friendly smiles and great service from everyone in the restaurant.

I highly recommend this restaurant for those looking for some good old fashioned barbecue.

Glad to have Big Daddy Que up and running in Grayson. If you are looking for great Q look no future than this locally own and operated establishment in the new Rail Yard development. Be sure to check out the Big Daddy Sandwich for a mountain of meat on a bun. You can get with or without slaw. Today, I chose to go with slaw. They also have a few different sauces, my fav is the Sweet.

Saw the Now open sign. Decided to check it out. I purchased the big daddy sandwich, portion size was good for the price, but the sandwich had a STRONG lighter fluid taste, i couldn’t even eat the sandwich!! It’s topped with what they call creamy coleslaw but its not yo mama’s southern coleslaw ,more mayo and pepper than anything. If they can eliminate that lighter fluid taste, and perfect that slaw im sure it would be an amazing sandwich.

Delicious!! Great low carb option! I consider myself a barbecue connoisseur. Great barbecued meat stands on its own with no sauce. I had the ribs and brisket and they both were flavorful and moist and didn’t need any sauce. I will definitely be back! Thanks for a delicious meal. Collard greens and green beans are a thumbs up too!

First of all, the positives. The decor was nice, the employees were attentive and friendly, the price was reasonable, and the beef brisket was very good. The negatives were the pulled pork tasted like lighter fluid, the fries were under cooked, my son’s bun was cold, and the squash casserole tasted more like pizza. I am a big fan of Bar B Q in general and found the food here to be average. I have only visited once and it will likely be my last. There are too many other choices I like better.
