Best food in town. The food is always fresh and the workers are always friendly and welcoming. Very clean restaurant. And great prices. 1 year ago.

The food was great and the staff were great. Our first time going and we will definitely return. They had so many items on the menu it was hard to make a selection. Plenty parking and no problem being seated. Our orders came out quick and we’re hot and large portions. Best of all the prices were great

Amazing staff!!! I ate there today and honestly thought I left my wallet on the table. I was upset and acted inappropriately. I found my wallet and I did not leave it there. Shamefully I apologized and instead of being upset with me over my behavior they hugged me and said it’s okay. Good people and the food was outstanding!

I just ate here for the first time. It’s got the vibe of an old school Mexican restaurant. The staff are friendly and the food was simple but very good. Don’t let the older building fool you either. It seems to be kept nice and clean.

This place has delicious food. The house hot sauce is so amazing. I haven’t had sauce that great in ages. It takes like someone’s Mama’s recipe. I am particular about salsa taste and they excelled for sure. My husband and I shared the Knott Special. It’s a a hot sizzing fajita plate full of tasty fish, chicken, steak, chorizo, mushroom and onions. Everying was cooked perfectly. We also got some tacos on the side. **Kids plates below $5** we also got some mozzarella sticks. We ate for around $50. We will be letting the rest of the work crew know and hopefully bring you some more customers.

Literally got chilie pollo. Some how it’s $121 and the server insists I pay this much. Literally what? Everything tasted like I was just licking a salt rock. If you’re deficient in salt, come here. Also, why are we fishing with Jesus?

Our food was great. We stopped by as driving through to I 75. Service was quick. Large servings for the price. I had a side salad that was large enough for two people and the cost was only $3.50. My shredded chicken nachos had plenty of cheese.

This is my opinion only, I am not food critic so what I say is from my experience only. That being said Im very disappointed in food and presentation. I had Polo Con Crema and looked like someone threw up on my plate. Chicken was hard and chevy, taste was blend no flavor, too much sour cream. My wife had pineapple fajitas and as you see in the photo it was very bad. She felt sick after, the steak was dry and old , chicken hard and chevy. Anyways if you want real authentic Mexican food I would not recommend this place. Restaurant is in heavy need or updating and refreshing. Paint chipping moulding repainted several times you can see several paint colors on it, setting all ripping and uncomfortable. For me it was too pricey and outdated with bad food. Should be called Anticuado Amigo.

I had the Milo Special at lunch. The food was cooked well and served quickly. This is a great place for original and well thought out Mexican inspired dishes in the mountains of Ky.

Unfortunately some of the worst Mexican food I’ve ever had. The servers were nice enough but the French fries tasted like OLD oil. Salsa was a little bland. Portions were as expected. Not a restaurant I would visit again sadly.
