I’ve tried many crepes at other places, but the Lotus chocolate crepes from here – are definitely at the top of my list! They were delicious. I will definitely be back for more
I have ordered the salmon Benedict & biscuits and gravy, while I did find it was good – I wish there was more seasoning overall.
Service was great, I had the same server both experiences – while I don’t remember her name, she was still wonderful & knowledgeable. Ambiance was very nice, good vibes.
During our visit to your restaurant, we were delighted by the quality and flavor of the food, which we found to be excellent. However, we wanted to take a moment to share some observations and suggestions that we believe could further enhance the overall guest experience.
Firstly, we noticed that our server did not wear a name tag, making it challenging to personalize our interaction.
Regarding service specifics, when our coffee was delivered, spoons were not included. Upon requesting spoons, only one was provided, which was a minor inconvenience we thought worth mentioning.
On a positive note, the food itself was delightful and full of flavor, showcasing your chef’s talent and dedication.
We would like to offer a suggestion related to the presentation of the Benedict eggs. Currently, they are served on a plate that appears somewhat overfilled. Serving them on a different plate or in a way that allows a bit more space might enhance the visual appeal and ease of enjoying the dish.
We hope you find this feedback constructive and helpful. We look forward to visiting again.

I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for good brunch. The staff is friendly, and Liz took great care of us today. The owner treats his customers like family, and you can tell takes a lot of pride in this establishment. 10/10 this is our go to place when we want brunch.
Update: I’ve been here 4x now ‼️ love it
Service was excellent. Owner brought out a plate of Dubai Chocolate Pancakes (on the house). A definite must try!
Clean restaurant with Halaal options! We’re definitely going back.
When I walked in, only two or three tables were occupied, and the entire restaurant was wide open. There were three or four employees standing behind the counter in the back talking amongst themselves. No one greeted me, acknowledged me, or told me whether I should wait to be seated or seat myself. After waiting briefly, I finally walked over and asked if I should sit anywhere. They said yes—something that would’ve been nice to know without being ignored first.
Once seated, a server took my drink order and handed me a menu. The menus are nicely designed, but I was immediately confused because the breakfast side of the menu didn’t list a single skillet. For a restaurant called The Skillet Flame, that’s pretty baffling. When the server returned, I asked if they had breakfast skillets. He told me they were on the back of the menu under the lunch section. Then he immediately asked what I wanted, which made me feel rushed. I asked for a minute to look things over.
Unfortunately, there were only about four skillet options total, and none of them stood out or felt creative. That alone was very disappointing. With how many things you can do in a skillet, this place should have a long list of unique, bold options. Instead, I flipped back to the breakfast side and ordered the biscuits and gravy with over-easy eggs as a safe way to judge the kitchen.
The food looked nice when it arrived, and presentation was solid. However, I was surprised to see sausage links served with the biscuits and gravy. I’ve never had it served that way, and I’m not a fan of sausage links. Had I known that beforehand, I would not have ordered the dish. To make matters worse, one of the eggs was closer to over-medium, which defeats the purpose when you want the yolk to mix with the gravy.
I tried one bite of the sausage link and honestly thought it was terrible. While eating, I couldn’t find my server anywhere to ask questions or get a water refill. When he finally returned, I asked if the biscuits and gravy always came with sausage links. He said the patties are “available upon request,” which made no sense—how is a customer supposed to know that unless it’s explained or listed? I wish he would have offered to replace them with sausage patties, but that didn’t happen.
On the positive side, the hash browns were clearly fresh, which is rare and appreciated. The biscuits were also fresh and nicely griddled, giving them a slight crisp. Unfortunately, neither the biscuits nor the hash browns were hot—barely even warm.
The gravy itself was extremely bland, with zero flavor. I had to add a lot of salt and pepper just to make it somewhat enjoyable. While the food looked good, the taste simply wasn’t there. I was excited to see a pepper sauce on the table, but it had NO label so I had no clue what it even was so I didn’t attempt to try it.
Overall, I came here because of the 4.7-star rating, and I honestly don’t understand how that’s possible. Between the lack of skillet options, poor service, confusing menu execution, and underwhelming food, this is not a place I would ever return to. On a Sunday morning, only four or five tables were occupied, which isn’t a great sign.
The biggest turnoff, though, is how the restaurant responds to reviews. They clearly use AI-generated replies with generic responses like “We’ll take this under consideration.” It doesn’t feel like they’re actually listening or making improvements.
Dining out is about the experience, and there was absolutely no experience here. I hate leaving bad reviews, but this one is deserved. Very disappointing overall.
