Came in early to taste their fresh food and to give a try a restaurant from Oaxaca but on Sunday, empty restaurant and an event down the street you don’t have a lot stuff from the menu ,that’s not right
I have the canasta oaxaqueña but it was missing 2 items tamales & chiles rellenos so have replaced with picadas & quesadillas
May comeback agin to give another try
Just don’t take that long to make the food please

This authentic restaurant was great a few years back and now it’s just loosing its taste takes them a good 40 min to bring out your food and when they do it’s already cold they only have one hot sauce they need more variety disappointed because it was one of my favorite spots

Great authentic Mexican food. If your looking for great tasting Chile Rellenos then this is the place.
We ordered Chile Rellenos and Camarones al mojo de Ajo(shrimp in garlic sauce). Both dish were delicious it came with home made tortillas.
Just be ready to wait since it’s all freshly made. We were getting upset because our food was taking too long. Once we tasted the food we were glad we waited.
Again highly recommend.

such a great and authentic mexican restaurant! i ordered the torta with chorizo, beef, cheese, and avocado and it came with fries. i also ordered the strawberry agua fresca (which was so big! but a great value for your money). everything was delicious! the food was hot and had really great flavor. it tasted like my moms cooking, i was very happy and full by the end. the only thing that caught me off guard was how spicy the salsa was that they served with chips at the beginning- so just beware if you’re not good with spice. i usually am but i wasn’t expecting how spicy it was lol and the lady who served me was very nice and the gentleman who was also there was also very kind. i liked that the restaurant was clean and the chairs and booths didn’t have seem to have tears in them. if i’m ever in the area i’ll definitely stop by again!

Excellent place. If you want genuine Oaxaca food this is the place. And the aguas de fruta are the the trip alone. And mole! Don’t get me started! Delish!!!!! My husband is from Puebla so we know about mole. Finding a good quesadilla de flor de calabasa is hard to find until now. My daughter had a quesadilla de asada and nice! It was kinda hard to find in the beginning. We passed it twice. But it was worth the third turn around. I Plan on trying the menudo next week.

I can not believe it took us all this time to find this place. The food was amazing, and the service was exceptional! We are definitely coming back with friends and family! Highly recommended trying the Trayula de la casa.

So happy to have found authentic Mexican food. Not disappointed at all. Even the coffee was amazing. I will definitely be back, and will be bringing others with me. Great job guys. Keep up the great work and amazing food. This is definitely a hidden gem. A bigger plus because they were playing the old Mexican music that remained me of my grand parents ❤️

The food is delicious! I ordered the mole and was not disappointed. The chicken was cooked perfectly and was covered in a plentiful amount of delicious black mole sauce. I ordered a water, and the waitress informed me they had a wide variety of aguas de fruta. I’m glad she informed me of this as I ordered a agua de fresa, which is made perfectly. My partner ordered a torta paiza. A torta that comes with a variety of meats in what seems to be homemade bread.
We came here because of curiosity about a new restaurant in town, but will definitely be coming back for their delicious entree’s and excellent customer service.
