The Nocturnal Hound is hands-down my favorite wine bar in town. From the moment you step inside, the space feels effortlessly warm, cozy, and welcoming. It’s both intimate and refreshingly unpretentious. Stephanie, the owner, is nothing short of amazing: incredibly knowledgeable, approachable, and passionate about wine. Thanks to her, I’ve discovered some phenomenal Washington wines I never would have tried otherwise.
All of the staff are friendly, attentive, and always ready with a thoughtful suggestion. The antipasto plate for two is our favorite; it’s the perfect pairing for an evening of sipping and conversation.

I use to come to the prior wine bar and it was good. The vibe of this new business is much better. Service is great. Prices are very reasonable. The antipasto (whole) is a perfect amount for two. The Sauvignon Blanc is absolutely delicious. Glad this place reopened as a wine bar. Parking can be challenging and reservations, especially for larger groups, are encouraged.

Wonderful wines and food. Staff was friendly and owner had great suggestions for wine choices. Great outdoor space that is dog friendly. We had a celebration there and the owner was wonderful to work with for set up and food and drinks were great.

First impressions are everything… We came here excited to try a wine tasting place we haven’t been to before. We were in a bigger vehicle and had trouble parking because someone in one of the lots double parked. We had to park our vehicle behind (not in) the disabled parking so one of us could get out to ask the staff if they could get the double parked vehicle to move. I didn’t even make it out of the car before we were met with a rude staff member who said we weren’t allowed to park there… yeah we knew that… told them of the situation and they said they would go find the owner of the vehicle. We waited over 5 mins, but felt increasingly uncomfortable with the interaction and decided that we no longer wanted to spend time here. No one ended up coming out anyways to help us with the parking situation. Really left us feeling like they wanted to shoo us away rather than help us.

This is a great place for wine, relaxing, small plate food and good friends!! I love the new decor, flooring, lighting and all the remodeling that has taken place. A group of us come together for wine every 6 weeks or so and this is the perfect spot. The staff were very attentive to our needs and when a glass was almost empty they were there to ask if we need anything. The selection of wines is nice and love their wine flights. The food was so good, and the whole antipasto was so filling for four of us. A perfect time and our new meet up place.

The owner of this place is so hospitable! She is passionate about wine and has great energy. She had us sample several lines. Picked one for me that I would’ve never found otherwise, that I absolutely loved! Outdoor space is cute and fun with views of the sunset through lovely mature trees! A must visit!

Love love LOVE this cozy spot to enjoy some of PNW’s best wine. (Local beer and ciders too). Stephanie the owner is very knowledgeable and is always finding great wines to share with us! Her team is so welcoming and are always happy to see us.
