Considering the convenience of the location and reasonable prices, we’ve been going there for years on Saturday nights, despite the food being somewhat mediocre, but tolerable. And we have used their catering service in the past and were very satisfied. But we have finally reached a point where the visit to their restaurant just isn’t worth the trouble.
Last Saturday, four of us went there for dinner and encountered the waitress who always seems to have a chip on her shoulder (they do have a nice one once in a while). We always just put up with the attitude and try to enjoy our food. But this time she delivered half of our order and we waited about 10 minutes for the remainder to arrive at which point it was all cold (and I know never to send food back into the kitchen for warming!).
I tried to reach a manager by phone to let them know what happened but I was advised by the less-than-helpful person with an attitude of her own that a manager wouldn’t be around until tomorrow.
We’ve done business with Vitarelli’s for years and even know some of the family though our children’s high school experiences. So I’m hoping this will give them incentive to correct the problem for the sake of their business.

Went to a catered party this afternoon in their medium sized banquet room. Not bad at all, the food isn’t very healthy but also not a complete gut buster depending on how you order. Service was solid, floors were clean, not bad at all. Hard to find as it is hidden from King’s Highway by a BP gas station.

DO NOT ORDER TAKE-OUT FROM VITARELLI’S! My girlfriend and I live less than a mile from their location in Cherry Hill and always receive lukewarm food… Every time we order pizza, we ask for “well done” but, receive a pie that’s either not fully cooked or the cheese slides off the top and into the corner of the box. Have also dined in and the service was average at best.
However, the food is very good and if you don’t mind picking up your own take-out, it’s not a bad joint.

For our wedding, the thought of using any caterer other than Vitarelli’s was never an option for us. I am a wedding professional and I’ve had the opportunity to work with just about every caterer in the South Jersey region. Vitarelli’s is hands down the absolute best in the region and this is exactly why my wife and I instisted on working with Christina of Vitarelli’s catering for our wedding. The food and service was absolutely perfect. We received compliments all night long, even from those hard to please guests! One person even told us, “You know how wedding food normally is… it’s good, but that’s usually all you can say. But jeez, this just blew every wedding I’ve ever been to out of the water! This food is outstanding!” Christina helped to make our planning process a breeze. My only disappointment is that this review can’t be more than 5 stars. If you only schedule one tasting and consult with a caterer, make it Vitarelli’s. You will not be disappointed.

Went in and sat down and everything was fine, but the person I was dining with was highly allergic to provolone cheese so when she ordered she specifically asked for mozzarella cheese and no provolone. The lady taking the order then told us that they had no straight mozzarella cheese, everything was blended with provolone! What Italian place in their right mind doesn’t have any straight mozzarella at all?!

I had the most delicious dinner tonight!!! From the soup, to salad to the Dijon Salmon….it was complete perfection!!! And to top it off…we had Toni as our waitress…she reminded me how fun it was to eat out and have superb service as well….SO UPSET I hear they are closing!!!! Arrrggg….I just found you!!!☹
