Gotta love Mel’s! If you’re ever traveling Northeast on highway 77, past Saddlebrook/Oracle areas..keep an eye out for San Manuel sign! Drive off the beaten path and head into San Manuel for their great eats!! Also ask for a French Vanilla Coke with Milk (sounds different but you’ll be happily surprised).

Love the burgers and fries! Chicken sandwich is tasty. Customer service is excellent. We eat there regularly. No complaints. Some days are faster than others. Meal is made to order so please be patient. They get a lot of orders called in. Often more busy than the folks present may indicate. Hang out and enjoy the food. Have a Chilly Willy for dessert or to celebrate life.

Thr fryer was down today so I got a Patty melt for a side. I actually got the Jumbo Southwest Cheeseburger and it is amazing! Very fresh and delicious! I would definitely come back as the food is food and the people are friendly. Thank you so much!

Was our first time in San Manuel and Mel’s was recommended by my cousin and it DID NOT disappoint. The food was delicious, the French Vanilla Coke and chilly Willy were a cool delight on a hot day and the service was amazing. It’s also very affordable

Brought my daughter here to show her what Mel’s was about when I was her age and it’s so unfortunate to say, I was deeply disappointed No greeting, The cashier was this young buck that didn’t know how to smile or show positive behavior towards the customers. After we ordered our food, I went back up to the counter to order a couple shakes and observed his back turned from the register and playing on his phone. I had to say something to get his attention, he gave me a cup that was only 75% full, I asked if he could complete by filling it and he sighed in frustration as he took the cup. There was a huge dead cockroach laying in the aisle. I noticed the cook kept going to the back for minutes at a time, then tending to the grill with dry hands and no gloves. Giving her the benifit of doubt that she might have possibly just dried her hands really well, we still continued to take our order to go. But to top it all off and completely made me regret coming here, the burgers were overcooked, hard and dry. This is not the place I remember in so many ways but it’s so unfortunate that the service and food is like this, I was at least expecting that to stay the same. I’m seriously trying to figure out how this place is still running without its quality in the food. Definitely going to la Casita next time

I cannot say enough great things about the food and staff, at Mel’s. First off, our group of women RODE THEIR BIKES from Tucson to San Manuel, and we’d heard Mel’s was the place to stop…and they were right. Not only was the food DELICIOUS and just what we needed, but we were greeted by friendly employees who were also busy serving their regular guests, never looking annoyed or frustrated, but just slinging out fries, burgers and love. Special thanks to Amanda and Charity for all your kindness. You truly made our evening and our trip to San Manuel ❤️❤️❤️
