Came in early afternoon on 12/16 and was greeted by Caitlyn, who welcomed me with a big smile and let me know she was happy to help if I needed anything. I was looking to get a birthday cake for my daughter, but the size available on display was a bit too large. When I asked if there were any smaller options, she explained that she had just made one and it would be ready in about 10 minutes if I didn’t mind waiting.
She even let it freeze a little longer since it was freshly made, added the candy toppings, and kindly offered to write a small birthday message on it. The entire experience was friendly, fast, and extremely courteous.
Highly recommend this location, and I would absolutely return—especially if Caitlyn is working. Her exceptional service truly went above and beyond.

Owner always been a nice guy, good service and love the fact they open all year long! People still eat ice cream in the winter.

They went out of their way to make a custom decorated ice cream cake for me. And, they placed it in their display freezer so that the birthday girl could “accidentally” find it. Very nice people.
4/23 update: asked if they would make an ice cream cake with top and bottom layers made from blizzards, versus standard format with bottom layer vanilla ice cream only. They had no problem accommodating me. I was pleasantly surprised as the DQ near my house refused to make one that way.
Bonus: they even had $4-off coupons for Easter!

Came to this location to use our coupons for free child Sunday. I told the lady at the window that we had free coupons for 3 childs cones. When I got to the drie thru the lady said that would be 3 something as if she never heard me mention the coupons. I showed her the coupons and she said, ” we don’t take these here at this location ” nothing on the coupons said they were only good for a certain location. She was rude and I think she just wanted to be difficult. I wouldn’t recommend using this location.

I’m extremely happy with the customer service here. I was hesitant on calling in a order because I needed a custom made cake by the following afternoon for a birthday and didn’t think it was possible. I had called another Dairy Queen near by and they did a fantastic job of assisting me. I was directed to the Dairy Queen they knew had The Avengers picture in stock. Mary took good care of me. I called minutes before closing and she still managed to have my request ready by the next day! The cake was delicious (Reese’s ice cream) and looked amazing for a very good price. My daughter loved it!!! Thank you guys for helping me achieve one of the major tasks for a birthday celebration!

The Addison DQ is absolutely great & well above average. Good full flavor, generous toppings, clean and a constant good, friendly employees. Been going here for years in addition to Bensenville, Wooddale,Fox Lake & various other locations. I actually did a review of several DQ’s & Addison is tops. I left off Elmhurst, but you can review it yourself

This is my favorite DQ location! Usually busy but they move fast! They are also a location that stays open year round. Very friendly workers there. Parking lot up front is a little small so sometimes there is a line for the drive thru that goes onto Lake st. I usually park next door and walk over to grab a treat and try to grab one of their 2 picnic tables.

I was out of town, I went to a different DQ, what a disappointment!!! BUT Addison is phenomenal, they always get it right! I will always get my birthday cakes here!! The selection is amazing! Highly recommend, my whole family looks forward to their birthday cakes! This is a long overdue Thank You!!! But also a continued Thank You!!!

I’ve been coming to this location for so many years now and I’ve never once had an issue. Each time is always quick and easy. The workers are really nice, hard working, and they always get my orders correct. Best part is they have a drive-thru! 🙂
