I sat at the bar and had a large Togo order. The bartender never even offered me a water while I waited. I ordered mushrooms (highly recommended) and they did not disappoint they were hand battered and just delicious. I also ordered the panko chicken caesar salad. Tasted awful and not at all what I read on the menu. The menu description reads romaine(bagged lettuce) baked panko encrusted chicken breast (that is the lie- they grill the chicken and then top it with Parmesan and bake it in the pizza oven. It was overly salty with the amount of Parmesan and mine did not have any panko.

I had great service here. I enjoyed the flatbread special of the day, the chicken bacon ranch. Someone in my party had a salad and the child in my party had the peanut butter marshmallow sandwich. Everyone at the table enjoyed their meals. Our waitress Haley was friendly and kept our drinks full. We will be back for sure. I also recommend the chicken bacon horshoe pizza!

Hubby and I decided to stop there on the way to the airport to get lunch. We sat at the bar and ordered our drinks I asked for a lemon didn’t get it she come back around ordered our food again I ask for a lemon I didn’t get it then we get our meals. I said can I have a lemon for my water oh sure and she brought me a lemon so I’m not sure what happened the first two times too much on her mind maybe. Other than that my food was decent . Hubby had a salad that he liked it was large and a cup of Gouda pepper soup. I wish they had more food on the menu that wasn’t deep fried and a regular soup like chicken noodle or vegetable soup. Maybe my diet was making me hangry we will be back.

Me, my mother and a friend went to Corner Pub tonight. Our friend unintentionally sat ourselves (oops!) and the server Aly was happy to help us anyway. She was an absolutely wonderful server as it was but what truly made our night is that she went above and beyond to create a “Happy Birthday” dessert as it was my mom’s birthday. They don’t actually have a birthday dessert but she took the time to make it special and write Happy Birthday in chocolate on the plate. It really is the small things that make nights special and I can’t say enough good things about Aly! The food and drinks were wonderful as well.

The staff was amazing! From the host to the waitress and beyond, I couldn’t ask for better service! My Dad ordered the grown-up grilled cheese and I had Buffalo Chicken ponyshoe, we BOTH had to get to go boxes! The prices were absolutely reasonable as well! Top tier ya’all! Will be back again and again!

Solid place. Horseshoe came out slightly cold and multiple things were messed up on the order. Still solid experience and things were fixed but when you wait extra long there shouldn’t be multiple mistakes. Still good experience overall.

Driving through Springfield Illinois on our way to Chicago, an iconic food is called “Horseshoe”, you can only find it in Springfield.. this was one of many choices, but I would say it was a great choice.. We got the hamburger horseshoe, which is a piece of bread, “looked like sourdough”, two hamburger patties, a mound of crispy crinkle cut fries, but the best part is the cheese sauce which goes over top.. Corner pub does it right by providing sauce for you to pour over so fries stay crispy.!! It was delicious and would love to try all the different variations..
