I was leaving EOS Fitness and it was between Nguyen’s Kitchen or Cava.

I figured I’d try the road less traveled and I was far from dissatisfied.

The garlic noodles here are great! I finished the entire bowl in one sitting & ate half my buddies bowl.

The girl at the register was so polite. She even let me sample all the refreshers before I landed on Mango.

Do not pay attention to the bad reviews about Nguyen’s Kitchen. The food is great and I will be sure to stop in next time I’m in the area.

I found NK while looking for a place to eat around my neighborhood. The French fries were almost the size of shoestring fries which made it difficult to eat. The fried egg was overcooked leaving the yolk not runny. I love garlic but I think the garlic in the fries overpowered the taste of the bulgogi. The tables were dirty. A bit overpriced for this particular meal.

We came on opening day Wednesday at night and it was pretty packed. Parking was a bit rough but just keep looping around and someone ordering takeout should leave soon.

The restaurant looked really nice inside and super clean. They had stools and booths inside for seating and some tables outside as well. We placed our order and the cashier was pretty nice and friendly. There were even little sample cups of their drinks. We tried the mango one, thai tea, and jasmine milk tea. I think they’re a little too sweet, but I’m sure with ice it would be just right. Our total came to around $34ish for 4 things. We waited about 45 minutes as they were behind but I think the owner was even stepping in and apologized for the wait. Really nice service here.

1. Yakisoba – 3/5
Personal preference probably, but I wish there was more garlic flavor here. It was a bit flat for me. I did get it without meat, so it’ll probably be more flavorful if I did.
2. Spicy Popcorn Chicken – 4/5
You can choose your preference of Mild, Medium, or Spicy. This was nice and crunchy and juicy on the inside. I was craving a different kind of sauce than the one provided here. I’ve had bomb popcorn chicken before but overall this was good. It came with a spicy but refreshing green sauce which paired well with the chicken and fries.
3. Bulgogi Sandwich – 3.5/5
Toasty bread and fresh veggies make a good combo with bulgogi, but we expected more flavor out of the bulgogi like at Korean bbq. I’m not an expert though and overall it left more to be desired. I’m not sure what the brown sauce was but it was a light umami flavored dip which complemented the sandwich well.
4. Cajun Garlic Fries – 4.5/5
Crispy horseshoe string fries with garlic and cajun seasoning. These were really good, but again I feel like the garlic flavor was a bit lacking.

This was a nice start to the new restaurant and hopefully they can gain a smooth flow to push out those orders for some hangry customers like the other reviewer lol. Again at the end, I think it was the owner who was super courteous and took our trays and seemed to be fully hands on with everything. He really made this a 5 star experience.

All these ratings are my personal preference. I encourage everyone to try anything they’re curious about on the menu!

Food was flavorful. Service was fast. The ambience is calm and it’s a comfortable -small restaurant to eat at. A little pricy for two food items and a drink though.

Ordered lunch here and had it Uber’ed, so can’t say much about atmosphere. Had the coffee, bulgogi sandwich and some wings. Loved the coffee and wings, a little on the fence about the sandwich. Thought it was on the salty side and bit into a couple of bone chips…

Gave this place another try after going in after they first opened and we saw the cook drop meat on the floor and pick it back up to cook with it. Big mistake. Very overpriced. The pork sandwich tasted fishy, the garlic noodles with bulgogi had no flavor except the gross lingering taste it left and the chicken bowl was bland and somehow the chicken tasted like cigarettes. The only thing edible was the garlic fries, though they were almost to hot to eat, and the golden bao which looks like it comes in frozen so they cant mess it up. We had to get a refund the food was so bad. The manager wouldnt even come speak to us when we got there. The girl that took our order was the best part of the experience. She was very nice and super friendly. Would def not recommend this place.

Thought it was going to be better, food is decent. Tried the sandwich, noodles, fries and popcorn chicken.
Sandwich was really basic, it’s mostly veggies with the meat tasting pretty basic. KBBQ in cheap areas have more taste.
Noodles were the high expectation me and my gf were having, turned out to be just OK as well. But adding a meat on top of the $9 for an extra $7 is pretty insane.
Fries are lowkey, the best item in their menu, but we didn’t really come for the fries.
Overall, the food came in slightly warm to almost getting cold. First day, we WAITED 45 minutes for the food btw. Maybe next time.

I stopped by here on their first day opening! The space is clean, open, and very modern. For 2 people we ordered the popcorn chicken, golden baos, and pork rice bowl. The golden baos were the best. Super crispy and tasty.
The popcorn chicken tastes like what you would get at a boba shop only they don’t give any sauce to go with it sadly 🙁
The pork bowl was sizable and tasted good! It reminds me of a deconstructed banh mi. I want to try their garlic noodles and banh mi next time. It took a long time to get our food but this is expected first opening, I’m sure wait times will get better.

I don’t understand the high stars. I had a shrimp bowl and husband got the bulgogi bowl. The “jumbo” shrimp must have been on a diet because they were itty bitty. Both proteins had zero seasoning and only tasted of raw garlic. No salt. No sauce. No seasoning. No flavor. Just garlic. The veggies were a piece of lettuce, a bunch of cut up cucumber and pickled carrot. Again no seasoning. And white bland rice. If you love garlic to the point of burning your mouth and don’t like seasoning or salt, this is your place!

Tried garlic noodles with shrimp. Flavors were great but noodles and shrimp were over cooked.

The bulgogi meat sandwich was great. It would be great to have fresh jalapeño slices to the sandwich to make it a true bang mi sandwich.
