Very chic. The cherry blossoms, lighting, & waving kitties transport you to a new world. We got the Kpop Fries & it exceeded expectations, 10/10! The Mt Fuji Roll & the Ravu Roll were good, perfectly balanced bites. The bulgogi beef was great as well, though was outshined by the kpop loaded fries. We had the japanese donuts & matcha condensed milk for dessert. Fantastic meal! Happy with everything! I also got the Real Housewives of Frankfort drink & it was sooo good! This place is perfect for date night, I would not bring small toddlers here, more of an adult place and for these with more cultivated palates.

City style restaurant in the heart of the suburbs! Came with a party of 6 today to celebrate 3 birthdays and it did not disappoint. Some drinks we had were the Lychee martini, Smokey old fashioned (with macallen), and the no money no problem margarita (with don Julio 1942). Drinks were made with top notch alcohols and were not only tasty but so well presented. The lychee martini had tiny flowers in it, the old fashion came in a smoker, and the margarita had a mini bottle of 1942 in it we were all obsessing over at the table! The appetizers were great (we had bang bang shrimp and the crispy rice flights with the tuna being our favorite). We had six different sushi rolls and they were all phenomenal with the Chicago fire being our favorite! The donuts with the sauce were out of this world! I can’t remember our servers name, but I believe it was Nathan? His service was outstanding! Very attentive, got all of our orders right, no problems at all. The interior design is also lovely with the trees and cats on the walls. What an awesome place!

First time at the restaurant. Very delightful place. Indoor seating well appointed. Spacious outdoor patio overlooking the Old Plank bike trail at the new building on White Street in downtown Frankfort. Good choice for a new restaurant in Frankfort with gluten-free vegan and vegetarian options. Serving sizes were good & shareable as well as delicious. The poke bowl was excellent with all the flavors blending very well together. Surf and turf roll was tasty also. However, the garlic miso edamame was tasty but overcooked and mushy. The strings should have been stripped off or the edamame shelled out of their pods. Best of luck! We will be coming back with friends. Open on Mondays too.

This is such a late review but my man took me here for my birthday last month and I loved it. We went at night and it just seemed more intimate with the dimmed lighting. Our waitress was a sweetheart and we loved everything we ordered. Will definitely be coming back

1st time coming in, this past Saturday and we had a wonderful experience. The bartender, was a tall gentleman, he was absolutely wonderful! Great conversation, very friendly and service was on point. We ordered the crab ragoon, bulgogi beef & a slammin salmon roll. Split between two people, we were full! All the above was absolutely delicious! We will definitely be back!

Alissa’s service was great! She recommended our dessert and didn’t mind checking in on us throughout the meal to make sure we were enjoying everything. We enjoyed everything – especially the drinks because she did a great job describing them. The spicy mango drink is something I’ll come back for. I also recommend the flight & the lettuce wraps to start with if you’re doing a quick lunch.

First time visiting for my husbands birthday made a reservation…when we walked in the door it wasn’t a warm welcome, it was “can you be done by 7pm our system overbooked us” not even a proper hello, welcome or anything. The decor is pretty. Tables are close together. Our server spent time talking to the table next to us but didn’t really pay attention to us. They also kept disappearing. We get our food. First few bites were delicious. I had the surf and turf roll. Until I had to keep spitting out the shrimp because there were large pieces of shell still attached. I let the server know the after that he was gone. About 10 minutes later a manager type did walk by doing table check ins. She was nice about the shrimp shell situation and did comp my roll. It really feels like they didn’t want us there so we got no customer service. We ended up leaving by 7:04pm…so they got their wish for us to be done. After hearing of others having great service and the food being amazing, we both were greatly disappointed.

Super cute restaurant . The food was very good for the most part. We ordered the crispy rice steak. It was very tender and flavorful. We also had the Waygu tostadas, these were our favorite. Mini tostadas layered with guacamole, beef and pico. The fried rice was our least favorite , but it was not bad, simply just not as flavorful as other fried rice we’ve had. The Bulgogi bowl was very good. The beef was very tender and seasoned well. Our only request would be that the beef was cut a little more. The portion sizes were all perfect . Our server did a great job, and the hostess even stepped in and helped her at the end. I will definite be back and will tell others!

Celebrated my wife’s birthday at senso a few days ago and we had a great time. We typically go to the city during her birthday but this year we wanted to just stay close to home and senso did not disappoint. The place was packed so im glad i had a reservation. The food was overall pretty good. The nigiri was excellent! I had the bluefin tuna nigiri and it was very savory. I also had the bulgogi and I enjoyed it. My wife had the lychee martini and she loved it. I had the smoked old fashioned and i would say it was probably the best old fashioned ive had and i have tried quite a bit. Overall, I would give them 8.5/10 with room for improvement on how crowded it is (basically elbow to elbow with other tables) and it gets pretty loud. Also, the food, although were delicious, felt like it could even be better!

Great food & atmosphere! The fried donuts were by far my favorite thing on the menu! We sat outside and enjoyed watching everyone walking their dogs or strolling down the path nearby. Highly recommend it!
