Marco’s is my overall favorite pizza franchise, and the Asbury store in Erie is the best of them. We’ve ordered from this location many times, and the pizza has always been great, the people inside have always been friendly, and the delivery service has always been prompt. I ordered a large pizza with extra cheese and extra old world pepperoni. It was ready in 20 minutes, not bad I thought. When I got home all the pepperoni was on almost half of the pizza, but not quite, I didn’t order it on half and it didn’t look like it slid since the cheese was on the whole pizza. I also did not tip it. I’m very surprised that an employee would see that when they cut it and thought it was ok to give to a customer. I’m sure whomever cut that and saw how the pepperoni looked, wouldn’t want a pizza they ordered to look like that. If I was the manager there I would ask the customer if they wanted a new one made or keep this one free of charge. Also I paid for extra pepperoni and it looked too be regular at best. I wanted to post a photo, but didn’t see an option for that.

I ordered a simple cheese pizza. This might be one of my new favorites. The underside was well cooked and crispy. Sauce was amazing. A good combo of sweetness and savory flavor. Cheese was just enough to stretch when you take a bite but wasn’t overloaded to the point where it overpowered the other flavors. Overall, this is a 9.2 from me.
