This was the first time that I had come to this location. I have Eaton at the other location in Birmingham. That one was very good. This one was also very good. The service was kind, and the food was brought out very quickly just as ordered. The only downfall is they do not have margaritas in pictures only large glasses That would be my recommendation is to get pictures. They have lots of flavors of margaritas, which is a plus that other places don’t have the atmosphere is set up very quaint and when you walk in, it’s warm and inviting. I had the chicken fajitas that night, but was so hungry. Forgot to take a picture, but I highly recommend this location to anyone looking for good Mexican food.

Food yummy, workers very polite, and urgent to get chips/drinks. Needed a lot more lettuce under the taco salad, great protein portion. Just not enough lettuce.
My only concern is with the short chubby older server. Very pushy with jokes, and made myself very uncomfortable while out with company. Making pointed jokes about how I the woman should pay the bill. He needs a coaching convo on how to speak with customers.
Everyone else amazing, if you don’t want excessive cheese, ask for less in whatever dish.

Tried this restaurant for the first time and I was impressed, their food is good and tase fresh. I got Fajitas (lunch) and everything was perfectly cooked while the chicken itself could have used slightly more salt , it wasn’t over or undercooked ,and everything else was great.We also got a cheese dip and an order of the kids chicken tenders that were also very good. Over all a very nice Mexican restaurant (one of the best ones I’ve tried) with friendly staff and good food (very clean as well). $35 with tip

Reasonable price food! I got the taco salad (chicken) with guacamole. The homemade guacamole was delicious, and the chicken was flavorful and served at a great temperature. If you like mangonadas, this is the drink for you. The hostess, waiter, and waitress are phenomenal.

During my road-trip, stumbled upon this restaurant, and it’s a solid place at a reasonable price. You get what you expect. We ordered all sorts of dips with our chips and I kept reaching out to guacamole over other dips. I ordered chicken fajita and it was good. The bathrooms were clean. There’re plenty of parking spaces outside in the parking lot shared with other businesses. I also grabbed a boba tea next door after I was done with my lunch. Staff was efficient.

Just wanted a snack for dinner and ordered their chori fries…I wouldn’t have served this to a dog. Presentation was less than appetizing. Literally just thrown together. No way I would have served this to a customer. Will not be revisiting.
UPDATE: I took the manager’s advice and looked up chori fries on google and I stand by my initial review. What they served based on what other chori fries looks like was trash, period!! Maya’s is the first pic, the last 3 pics are from google. Not the same! Maya’s fries were greasy, had a tablespoon of cheese that was on one side of the pan, and stuck to the pan, not on the fries AT ALL! And it looks like they just threw some chorizo on top. PICTURES DON’T LIE! RIDICULOUS!!!
