The baked potato with brisket is as good as it looks. The brisket was flavorful and juicy. The potato was nice and cheesy. I love that they gave me two bbq sauce which was amazing btw. They did not skimp out at all. Yall will see me again!

This was my first time here. The food was great!!!! I had the smothered pork chop with yams and string beans. The cornbread was sweet and buttery just like I like it. I asked for a sample of the yams because everyone cannot cook them, wonderful and not too sweet… overall very enjoyable experience. I will definitely return.

Delicious bbq’ can’t wait to try their oxtail tomorrow! It will be my first time trying that one. Await for update on that meal.
Update: the oxtail plate was delicious!! Loved the tenderness of the oxtail and the Mac and cheese are amazing! Btw: I really love everything about it. The corn bread, the beans, the Mac and cheese, the rice the juice or sauce and of course the oxtail.

I had to express my extreme disappointment with the dining experience I had at this establishment. The food was truly appalling, with all three meals ordered we got ending up in the garbage. The beef tips were dry and lacked any seasoning, rice was undercooked and hard, mac n cheese seemed to be masked with a can of Rotel to compensate for the lack of flavor or real cheese. The cornbread was dry, and the yams tasted like they were straight out of a can. The other two meals were worse. I am perplexed by the positive reviews, as my experience was far from satisfactory.

I ate a delicious turkey it was smoked my family loved it . Ohh man don’t have words to say how good the turkey was. It was fantastic hands down I totally recommend it was juicy & very tender for special occasions. The guy was super nice we didn’t know which door to go to since it was our first time he came out to greet us. You just feel welcome that’s what I love from Barrett BBQ stop Y’all do such an amazing job

Stop in yesterday for the first time to get my truck inspection Mr Barrett was a very nice man , after getting my truck inspection he told me they had some of the best BBQ and home cooking in town , boy he was not kidding I had the beef tips and rice and my son had a chopped beef sandwich was some of the best food I ever put in my mouth, looking forward to trying the fried pork chops next time, thanks Mr Barrett!
