Everything is made fresh, right in front of you. The moment you walk up to the line, you can see the difference: crisp cucumbers, bright tomatoes, freshly chopped cabbage, creamy hummus, and perfectly seasoned chicken coming straight off the shawarma spit. Nothing looks tired. Nothing looks pre-made. It’s real food.
The pita is soft, the chicken is juicy with that perfect char from the rotisserie, and every bite actually tastes like something — garlic, lemon, spice, smoke. It’s one of those meals where you keep eating even after you’re full because it’s that good.
Clean setup, fast service, generous portions, and everything tastes fresh and balanced without being heavy. For a quick lunch or an easy dinner that doesn’t feel like fast food, this spot seriously delivers.
Hidden gem. Extremely tasty. Absolutely worth it.
I’m not sure whether this is the effect of large chain franchising or simply a disconnect from the importance of customer care, but my first experience fell short. My teenage son and I were there for a simple mother son date. He placed his order and tried a sauce, later realizing it contained allergens. When he politely asked if it could be changed, he was told he would need to pay for a second order. When I asked for clarification, I was told this came from the manager.
From a strictly transactional standpoint, I understand the policy. From a service standpoint, especially given it was our first visit and involved a genuine mistake around allergens, the response felt rigid and unwelcoming. Moments like these are opportunities for businesses to build trust and loyalty, especially with families.
What lingered with me most was the feeling of being dismissed rather than cared for. I couldn’t help but wonder whether the interaction would have felt the same if we were of a different race, and that concern stayed with me longer than the meal itself.
I share this not to attack, but in hopes that leadership reflects on how policies are applied and how customers are treated in moments that call for empathy, flexibility, and human connection.
If you haven’t tried Naf Naf, you are doing yourself a disservice.
The staff goes out of their way to help you order from the different meal options. The spices are wonderful. Never knew a stuffed Pita could jump up and slap you ( in a good way) like that. Great atmosphere and very clean. Can’t wait to go back!
