We ordered the Sarap Manila with a side of seasoned fries and the Aji inferno. Each has a unique taste and I think based on one’s preference, you can find a burger suited to your palate.
The Sarap Manila is flavorful because of the longganisa patties while I liked the Aji Inferno because of the jalapeno lime sauce (medium spicy). The patties for the Aji Inferno were not as flavorful as the Sarap Manila so the jalapeno lime sauce definitely made up for the average taste of the patties.
What’s not to like with fries specially when they’re hot and crispy.

So I’ve ordered from this place 3 times on DoorDash and boy, are they worth the overcharge!
The food is not just fantastic, but the owners are very sweet. On the 3 time I ordered, I asked for the loaded fries with 10 hunnids sauce but there was some mix up in the kitchen and I got Wasabi Mayo instead. Well, I decided to call and the person who picked up was so courteous and offered to replace the order with the correct sauce no charge.
You best believe I took that offer because let me tell you something about the loaded fries:
If you get them with the 10 HUNNIDS sauce (emphasis needed) you’re going to get a dish that gives the In-N-Out animal fries a run for their money.
Store location is a bit odd because they seem to be based at the back of a neighborhood bar, but hey, Burger N Booze. What more could you want!

Zero care for customers and an unbelievable level of negligence. I ordered a double-patty burger and received a partially smashed, completely burnt, falling-apart mess with visible char. Anyone who cooked this knew it was bad and still sent it out for delivery. Do not order from this place.

Flats Burger has quickly become one of my go-to spots for a great meal! My favorite burger is the Sarap Manila with the Cajun fries. Make sure you get it with the egg.
Flags Burger is located in Rocks Den. Order yourself a burger and get a drink from the bar. There’s also a pool table here and music. Bring your friends here and enjoy yourself a burger!!!

Hands down, the Sarap Manila Burger at Flats Burgers is incredible! I couldn’t wait to dig in, so sorry about the big bite before the pic. If you’re craving something unique and flavorful, this burger is the one to try. Will definitely be back!

Fries looked good on the outside, but were half raw on the inside. Asked to replace and they agreed, but ghosted after half an hour waiting (by then, done with burger, of course).
As for the burger, AT BEST this was a low middling experience. Weak dry buns, meat nothing special. The different clever options are cute, but if you don’t get the meat and bun right nothing will save you.
Service: opened 15 minutes later than posted, waited around 20 minutes for the food after ordering (they have a kiosk for that). Replacement for the half raw potatoes were promised but not delivered. It’s bar food, but c’mon.
It’s hilarious they currently have a 4.8 rating, this place is a 2 at best. I’m not much of a drinker but perhaps by the time people get their food they are so high from imbibing that they don’t know their 1’s from their 4’s?

It’s been a real quest for me to find a great burger in San Francisco, and Flats delivers the perfect balance of flavor. The richness and simplicity of each burger make them wonderfully harmonious, yet every bite has its own unique touch.
Not overly done, yet distinct.
The only downside is that this burger joint is so close to my house it might keep me from exploring other spots.
Plus, the vibe is nice and cozy.

Looking for a hefty SMASH BURGER!? Check out Flats Burgers currently located inside Rock’s Den Bar.
They offer Asian-inspired flavors such as Sarap Manila (Filipinx), K-Pop (Korean), and Wasa-Bish (Japanese). They also offer a classic American Smash Burger.
I really wanted to try all 3 of the Asian-inspired Smash Burgers, so guess what? I got all 3 because why not!?
Sarap Manila is made with Longanisa and Banana Ketchup. How could I not get that!? K-Pop included Kimichi and Wasa-Bish had a Wasabi Mayo sauce. Each bite 100% lived up to its name and each one carried a uniqueness that you cannot find anywhere else but at Flats Burgers. The buns were buttery and soft, the patty was, of course, flat or smashed, but you get 2 patties and its just cooked to perfection where each bite of whatever burger you order, your tastebuds will be dancing.
My personal favorite was actually the Wasa-Bish, because the Wasabi Mayo sauce they blend together was soooooo yummy!! I needed more of it so I ordered extra sauce on the side to add a little more to the buger.
They also offer fries, tots, loaded tots and wings. We also ordered their loaded tots with longanisa and oooo that is a meal on its own! A generous amount of longanisa and sauce coating almost every tot.
They are located inside a bar so expect people sitting at the bar or playing pool in the back table. It’s honestly a chill place if want good food, some brew, maybe watch some game on one of their TVs, play pool or just hang out.
Parking can be tough. Street parking so just be mindful and don’t forget to pay!
