I absolutely love any food I’ve ever ordered from this restaurant and have for over 10 years now. The coconut soup-I add chicken is a soup I crave all the time, especially if I’m sick. It’s like no one else’s version of the same soup. The fresh rolls are delicious every time, the curry was lovely. The pad see ew (sp?) was fantastic as always! We dined at the Oakley location tonight and the staff was kind and attentive! I like the aesthetic of the Mariemont location in terms of atmosphere, but either way the food and staff rock! I’ll always go back for more!

This place was somewhat difficult to find, even though I have driven by it 1000 times. The parking here sucks and the dining room isn’t that nice, so I suggest carry-out.
HOWEVER, the food here is outstanding! The taste, the fresh vegetables, and the spicy taste. This is my favorite Thai place now.
I get the beef broccoli, and it is fantastic.
This place blows the other Thai places away.

One of the best waiters ive ever had!! he checked on my table several times and made small talks often—super nice. Food was great and seemed very authentic. Highly recommend the popcorn chicken for kids, very similar to chicken tenders but crispier and better.

While visiting my hometown of Cincinnati, my brother and sister-in-law took me to the green papaya on Wasson Road. I was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere, the service and the food! We visited on a Sunday night so the parking was plentiful. I had the miso soup, ginger salad, and the tempura shrimp and vegetable combo all fried perfectly. I had a taste of my sister-in-law‘s Choo Chee curry. I didn’t think I liked curry, but that was delicious. It had sweet undertones. I didn’t get a photo of my brothers coconut soup, but I can tell you I wished I had gotten that instead of the miso soup. Rich, flavorful and mild coconut with tofu. I have to say the Ta Ta roll was the star of the show! It’s a must have and slightly fried for a crunchy rice outer texture. I highly recommend the green papaya restaurant for anyone who loves really good Thai food and sushi.

No clue how on earth they got 4 stars. They must have given me different food. Food had soggy unidentified pieces of what seemed like spit out tomato of some sort had them remake it three times and it still had the tomatoes in it except they weren’t nearly as mushy I clarified I definitely did not want any tomatoes in them because I absolutely cannot stand tomatoes and they kept doing it it was like they did on purpose and thought it was funny and the food quality was absolutely atrocious to me and I would never recommend this restaurant to anybody and have no idea how they got over a four star that seems impossible to me.

Went here for an impromptu early dinner as we needed to fuel up before a night concert nearby so we decided to order some appetizers of fried tofu and crab rangoon and both came with sweet and sour sauces along with a set of sushi rolls of Hyde Park Roll (tuna, salmon, avocado, and cream cheese? And they were fried if I’m not mistaken). Oh, I also wanted something sweet so I got the signature Thai Iced Tea which was so good and not too sweet to my palate. For the food, every dish we ordered was okay – personal note was the crab Rangoon’s filling was not as flavorful as expected but the sauce saved it so I hope the cream cheese or other ingredients of the filling could be more flavored and enhanced in some ways? Just a thought.

The service was good although I could see the waiter was really wondering when we would leave as we stayed for almost an hour just by ordering two appetizers, one roll, and a glass of Thai iced tea, however, we did not mean that way as we really needed a place to settle down before the event. I used the toilet to clean up and changed my clothes, the toilet was super clean, smelled good, and was very proper in my opinion. The vibe of the place was very authentic Thai and as time went by, a lot of people were coming in for dinner. I would say the neighborhood area was pretty nice as we saw a lot of people doing evening runs or walking in proper exercise outfits which seemed nice! They also have a few parking spots in front of the restaurant, maybe 4-5 cars will fit?

After checking out, there was a bowl of lollipops and we took one for each other, I got the grape and my bf took the rootbeer one which he really loved, and talked about it for the night. Recommended if you are around in the neighborhood and want to try Thai dishes with some fusion sushi rolls!

Green Papaya offers a pleasant blend of Thai-inspired dishes and a predominantly sushi-driven menu. Several of their sushi creations stand out as original, flavorful, and well-priced, making the restaurant a reliable choice for good quality at a fair cost. The service is courteous—efficient, if a bit reserved. The atmosphere could be improved, though in some ways it reflects the restaurant’s philosophy: solid quality without unnecessary frills.

A nice little thai restaurant with a good amount of options to try. Almost everything on the menu could be vegetarian. I had the lemonade which was refreshing. I ordered mango curry which came in a pineapple husk. It was a very pretty picture. My friend ordered red curry. We both liked our food. The prices are very reasonable for the quantity. The service is excellent. Our waitress was attentive but not disturbing at the same time. Kudos to her. I will definitely come back to try the other items on the menu.

My husband and I enjoy our visits to Green Papaya. The food is spectacular and filling. It’s also authentic. We usually order a curry dish because it’s filling even without the rice. The staff is so friendly, and the restaurant is always clean. The restaurant shares a parking lot with other businesses in the plaza, so sometimes the parking lot is full. It’s easier to find a parking spot at lunch time or between lunch and dinner.
