Pei Wei has always been my favorite Asian restaurant, and since all the Austin locations closed, I honestly thought I’d never get to enjoy it again. So when we were in San Antonio and I spotted that Pei Wei sign, I was so excited we immediately decided to go.
The food did not disappoint. My wife and I both got our meals hot, fresh, and just as good as I remembered. Everything tasted exactly the way it used to — flavorful, comforting, and consistent. We also ordered edamame and two drinks, and even with the extras, the price was very reasonable.
I really wish there was a closer location, because I’d be back all the time. Until then, this San Antonio spot absolutely delivered and reminded me why Pei Wei has always been a staple for me.

1st time at this location and 1st time back at Pei Wei in over 15 years… I think it might be another 15 before I’m back. The salmon poke bowl was disappointing. The salmon is coated in way too much dressing to really enjoy the salmon. The cilantro was a little sad and wilted as were the cucumbers. It’s a decent sized portion, but you can get a much fresher poke bowl at HEB for the same price or less. Their hot & sour soup was lukewarm at best initially, so they reheated it for me. Good flavor, lots of meat in it, little tofu, but still missing something… mushrooms? I will say, the best thing about this place was the hardworking lady performing triple duty as cashier, server, and table buser. Give this lady a raise, or some help! Kudos for your friendliness and non-stop service during the lunch rush.

As a family of four we went with the feast. Perfect y pick entrees, comes with the tastiest lettuce wraps, and finish off with Thai doughnuts. We were plenty full from the amount we were given. The spicy dishes are packed with heat, so be cautious. The staff are extremely friendly and the restaurant is kept very clean. We will be back in the future!

This Pei Wei location is awesome. I had the Thai Basil Chicken with extra basil and extra chicken. It was perfectly prepared. Absolutely super delicious. Fresh ingredients. I would have lunch here regularly if I lived nearby. Great chefs! Highly recommended!

Man at the front was sweet. Came here because the hype but the food was very disappointing. Overpriced and disgusting. My friend ordered more food than me, and hers came out ten minutes before mine!!! The party that walked in after me received theirs at the same time as me….. Sauce tasted burnt, and even my friend who used to frequent Pei Wei stated this did not taste correct.

We had a wonderful experience at this Pei Wei location. We had a hiccup at the register and the cashier was patient while trying the fix the issue. He called over the manager, Farid, who resolved the issue and even gave us a free app, for being so understanding.
The food was great, and as always Pei Wei does not disappoint.

We did takeout here for dinner. We ordered the Bourbon Chicken entree, the Teriyaki Chicken entree, Crab Wonton and Crispy Dumplings. Food was hot and good. Good customer service. Would recommend that you visit this establishment and will return again for inside dining next time.

Clean restaurant. Friendly staff. I absolutely LOVE the Thai Coconut Curry Chicken with brown rice. Probably my favorite meal of all time. They do have Coke Zero (great quality fountain drinks) and Apple Pay. Plenty of padded seating. Nice date spot. They have weekly discounts. High quality food ingredients made to order. Hidden gem.
