A few good things: my server was awesome, smiling, sweet and nice and attentive. BUT…The checkout lady was not friendly. Not a smile, not one pleasant word, just business. The checkout lady should learn how to treat customers a little more nicely.
Not sure I’ll come back.
Place smelled weird.
Food was ok. Not super fresh vegetables but not the worst.
My server, again, was awesome, but the checkout is the last place you go and it’s the memory you leave with.
The food isn’t great anyway so altogether 3 stars.
I would go lower than 3 stars except for my server who was a sweetie and was nice to all the customers she dealt with. Checked on the table and said goodbye so pleasantly.

Good diner style breakfast with big portions. Friendly staff, quick with the service and refills. This isn’t a gourmet place, its a diner (thus the atmosphere rating)and they dish up 5 star diner type food.

We stopped for breakfast after a wedding and the food was great. We got fabulous service. We had the number 1 egg special and an omelette. Both were great. Really good coffee too. Clean and cozy. They are open for breakfast and lunch every day.

I had the Chicken Gyro and Chili Fries. The other person ordered two eggs over medium, bacon crisp, and French toast.
The staff were very friendly and prompt. Our food came out very quickly. The main thing was that it was all cooked perfectly! The bacon was crispy, eggs were an actually medium (which is hard for most restaurants to get right). Eggs and Bacon 5/5 French Toast 3/5, it wasn’t bad or good just average.
I was impressed with the tomatoes on the gyro. I’m not normally big on them but they were good, like they had a slight sear to them and not just raw. (Or maybe it’s the type of tomato they used.) The tzatziki sauce wasn’t my favorite but that’s a me thing it wasn’t bad. The fries were crispy and crunchy and not at all soggy with the chili on top. You also get a lot of chili with your fries. Gyro 4/5 Chili Fries 4/5

Mark’s is an old style Coney Island, you can watch ch the cooks cooking as you’re seated along the kitchen row, crowded because they have great cheap breakfasts, but you can always find a seat. Comfy, great wait staff, great breakfast and lunch food.
The only thing that could improve Marks is updated bathrooms. Not a place if you’re looking for fancy, but if you want a place to meet a friend over coffee or a breakfast group, Mark’s is it. Love the staff who have been there for so many years they know what you’re going to order!

This is a very nice and friendly restaurant I wasn’t aware they closed 15 min before I landed there to eat. And it didn’t matter to the amazing waitress I had and the cooks. They treated me as if they had just opened with respect and honor. I ordered the country skillet which was utterly amazing and affordable. I felt very comfortable I my surroundings and it was nice and clean. I will definitely be going back very soon. Thank you team!!

My server was Jessica. She’s very friendly and fun to talk to. Chicken soup was obviously homemade and quite good. Hot dog was good mild flavor. Locally sourced.
Asking some other patrons. They were happy with their food, most seem to be regulars. Food was prepared by Francesco and Jordan they obviously care.
Very reasonably priced,
I will be back.

Looking for a quick dinner with my UM student son and stopped in this very clean and friendly diner. The servers were friendly and I love that the kitchen and cooks are in open; they were also friendly to customers as they prepared food. My son ordered their burger (he consumed in about five bites) and I ordered the BLT wrap with French fries….both made to perfection (fries were perfectly golden)! My son ordered the homemade apple pie, warmed with whip cream…he could not stop talking about how good it was, lol. This restaurant is located right off 23; you don’t need to go into the heart of AA to find a delicious home cooked meal! We have decided to add this local diner to our short list and can’t wait to go back for breakfast.

Visiting from out of town, overheard the place opened in the 80’s and it felt like it (in the best way). It took less than 15minutes to receive my omelet from the moment I sat at the bar. Such a classic diner, great prices, solid food, excellent service.
