Small free-standing takeout place in Tower City. Salads are custom made while you wait, and sre reasonably priced ($13-$14). They also offer sandwiches and drinks to go.

Mixed Greens is a great place to get a fresh healthy meal. They offer fresh made panini’s, quesadillas and salads. Service is quick and simple easy ordering.
Danielle was super friendly and made my custom salad perfectly. The chicken is hand carved meat off the bone and not processed! They had over 50 toppings to choose. I had 3 types of greens, edamame, beets, and cucumbers along with real bleu cheese and a no fat raspberry vinegarette that was really outstanding!
They are generous with the toppings and everything is super fresh. Prices are economical too! There are so many places to sit inside and out. Very relaxing place to have lunch.

I just paid $13 for a rice bowl that was so small. Hardly anything. I think I had 4 small bites of chicken. Two bites of green pepper. What a rip off. Never again. Chipotle for sure next time.

I’ve come here several times for a variety of things – some of the hot sandwiches are good, the smoothies are ok.
Most often I always just get the house salad though – for $8 you get 3 toppings, a small 4-5oz portion of meat, and choice of greens. Fairly expensive for a salad with only a few toppings – but everything’s fresh and they have a good selection of stuff + really good dressing choices and overall it’s a big salad that will always fill you up and leave you satisfied.
But the last few times I’ve been here the salad has been like nothing. I get the box and it feels like it’s empty – totally skimp on greens, on toppings, cheese, meat. It looks like half the salad I used to get here.
Somewhat disappointing to see them starting to skimp on ingredients, considering the price.
If you have the time I’d recommend the nourish cafe next door for their salad bar – but you’ll have to wait longer. This place never has a line so at least you’ll through quick.

I had the chicken rice bowl. It came with rice black bean corn salsa cheese grilled onions and peppers. Let me start with the grilled onions and peppers. Barely “grilled” ZERO taste. The rice is Uncle Bens minute rice. The black beans are canned. No seasonings just cold from a can beans. I suspect the corn is too but that’s okay. That’s why I rated it one star. You can’t mess up corn. This was the most bland and cold meal I have ever had. If you happen to find yourself inside Tower City eat ANYWHERE but there.

I ordered a strawberry banana smoothie from here and it tasted like watered down, artifical banana flavor. I should have took my 5 bucks to the smoothie place on the other side.. At least the long wait would have been worth it there.
