TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Dave’s Hot Chicken was a great experience overall! The restaurant was super clean and had a nice vibe. The staff was really friendly and welcoming, which made the visit even better.
The chicken itself was high quality. Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside and you can choose your spice level which is a nice touch. Personally, I wasn’t a big fan of the seasoning flavor; it just didn’t have as much flavor as I expected. I was also a little disappointed that they didn’t have ranch for dipping. That would’ve taken it up a notch!
I didn’t try the shakes this time, but they looked amazing, so I’ll definitely be going back to grab one. Overall, solid spot for hot chicken fans and worth checking out!

I asked to please hold the pickles and THEY DID! The Chicken and French Fries were GREAT. Employees all seemed to be happy and helpful. Food took 15 minutes after ordering and was worth the wait. Next time ill order before I go. Big pieces of chicken. A bit pricey for Chicken but the large pieces and great tasted made it well worth the price. We will be back.

The reason why I didn’t give a 5 star is because I considere the the price is high for the little amount of chicken they give on the loaded fries is full of veggies and fries but such small pieces of chicken and is not in one specific store is mostly in every store. This was prices as $14 and so in total for two order with one drink was more than $30.
