Came to try out the sushi at Maki and omg what a horrendous experience. First of all the ONE lady working, asked us to get up and order at the register while other ppl who got there she went and took their order at their seats. The food was ready about 25 min after we ordered. The food was so terrible the salmon had fibers and strings sticking out and was brown and fatty. Never eating at this place again. So disappointing you can tell the owner of this place doesn’t care for customer experience nor quality of food. Wasted my money on sushi I couldn’t even eat because I felt scared to get sick.

Waitress/bartender was super friendly when I arrived and made my drink relatively quickly. I ordered a poke bowl because I was a little overwhelmed at the entire food lab and didn’t know what I wanted and I was very happy with how everything tasted. Maybe I should have ordered a specialty roll to get something a little more special but their rolls were a bit pricy compared to the $20ish poke bowl with three proteins so that’s what I went with. They do offer a happy hour.. luckily I found a spot at their bar because the majority of the food lab struggled with AC so it was pretty toasty with all the people in the common area on a Friday night.

Good was delicious and the bartender was friendly and welcoming. Got a couple of rolls and a couple of drinks. The 91 fwy and the rainbow menagerie were very tasty. The samurai old fashioned was so delicious. Will definitely be back!

This place was exceptional and the two working on the evening of 12/5-6 were great. He did awesome on the rolls and I’ll definitely go with the Cilantro roll from now on and she was such an awesome server/bar tender and sweet. I’ll definitely be back when in Riverside especially if these two are there. The place is far better than current reviews or at least my experience was.

Highly disappointing for the price point but it was fine. Honestly pretty similar to grocery store quality sushi. Ordered the Hawaii five oh sushiritto, was surprisingly bland, small, and the wrap unrolled and fell apart after two bites. Def would not recommend to any of my foodie friends but it was fine.

Had no expectations. Thought it was a restaurant. Turns out, it’s in a huge food court! Still they had good sushi and cocktails! Bout 8 seats at the bar or u have to sit other places! To me…. This was a fun place with lots of people and atmosphere of fun! Will be back!

Got the nom nom nom roll and omg it was HORRID I’ve gotten sushi all the time from tons of places and NOTHING IVE EVER HAD WAS TOO THIS LEVEL OF GROSS not even my teenage all you can eat sushi runs in back ally places. 17 Dollars + for A small roll. (Plus tip because if you don’t tip you shouldn’t even eat out) so expensive for TRASH. the cashier and everyone was nice and im sure they did there best but who ever made this recipe needs jail and whoever OK the ingredients needs to go with them.

Honestly, it was kind of expensive for the portions being so small. I paid over $100 for 2 poke bowls and a 6 piece cilantro roll.
And the cilantro roll, just wasn’t good. It was mushy and had no flavor. There also was barely any cilantro on it
The poke bowls were okay, but I couldn’t finish it because there wasn’t any sauce, even though I had asked for it.
The service was good though, the cashier was very nice and was patient with taking my order.
I would recommend this place for someone looking to get Pokè- but not for the sushi rolls.
It also took kind of a long time for my order to be prepared, so I would only go if you have time to sit down.

Really poor service, ordered at around 9;45pm there was literally no one in front of me or behind me in line. Should have been my first red flag. I waited over 30 minutes for two rolls. The guy preparing the food was so slow. Moved like molasses. They charge $1 for the tiniest cup is sauce. Ridiculous! The rolls were ok at best. Never ordering from here again. They say they will text you when your order is done but fail to tell you it’s going to be a long while. Terrible service. Never again
