This place is awesome! Been living and eating in las vegas for over a decade. These guys should be out there. It’s been months since I’ve had food this good since I’m always driving the highways. Highly recommend this place. I don’t understand how they only had 2 tables full. Get these people some more business.

This used to be a family owned amazing Chinese restaurant when I lived in the area several years ago! Unfortunately It has changed ownership. Went today and ordered Appetizers which were cream cheese and crab ragoons. They came out so hot, we couldn’t even touch them for several minutes. When we finally were able to try them, the cream cheese was liquified and scalding hot. They were so sweet, it tasted like it might be a dessert. Then for my entree, I ordered my favorite item for my mother and I: Happy Family(beef, chicken, shrimp, rice). When I started chewing it, it had no distinct flavor and had a consistency as of it had been cooked in a microwave. I tried a couple of other bites and tastes a burnt taste you could almost smell. It had the aftertaste of burnt popcorn. We couldn’t eat it. I advised the server who didn’t seem to speak English (no server seemed to speak or understand English) and the manger came to the table. I explained it to him and he asked if I wanted it recooked. I said no. He offered no apology and just walked off leaving the food on the table. The host came to the table and did basically the same, just walked off. I told her it would be nice if they would remove the food. She said “You could’ve asked for it to be removed.” She gave me the check and I had to ask if my plate was removed from the ticket. She said mine was. My mother had eaten about 5 bites more than me but they still charged us for the rest even though the vast majority of the food was still on the table. When I paid, I asked if they used a microwave to which she said “no”. As I said Ed the receipt, I told her it would’ve been proper for at least someone to apologize for the food. She just stared at me. I said “no apology? Just a stare?” She looked past me and said “Have a good day”. I will NEVER go back. It was the worst Chinese food I have ever eaten in my life. Do not go here if you are looking for friendly, professional service and good food. You’ve been warned! A local treasure lost…

One of the first customers of the day, floor was not clean was the first thing noticed. Wait staff not friendly at all. Noticed others were asked if all was good, and drinks were refilled, I was never thought of again after food arrived except to bring me my bill. First time there and most likely my last. The one thing I can give them was they have a great cook, food was delicious.

⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 STARS ❤
I was reluctant to try this restaurant. Since moving to the area 10 years ago, I have been nothing disappointed with all the Chinese restaurants around Boaz, Albertville and Guntersville. I am SO glad we stopped in!
Everything was hot and fresh. The egg drop soup was the best I have had in a long time! The egg roll was more like a spring roll, not very big, at all, and probably wouldn’t order that again. The orange chicken was AH-MAZ-ING! A little spicy too!!! Husband ordered the Mongolian beef; it looked soooo good!!! He said it was very good.
I would definitely eat here again and would recommend to anyone!!!!

Good food but the bathroom is abysmal. It needs a major all-day professional cleaning and then someone who can maintain it. Old toilet paper on the toilet brush, everything is dingy and gross. And it smells like old garbage and musty crap. Yuck

This was our first visit and it will be our last. It wasn’t busy when we went in and the young lady sat us down and immediately wanted to know what we wanted to drink we asked for a few minutes to look at menu and it took 20 minutes for her to come back, then we sat another 10 before we got to order and it took 25 to get our food which wasn’t that good after all that. We won’t be going back this is for sure. We will keep going to Shanghai Express for our Asian food.

I ordered the House Egg Fu Yung, which was supposed to have chicken, beef, and shrimp. I noticed shrimp and possibly chicken, but I didn’t see any beef. Ordinarily, egg fu yung has a thick, tasty brown gravy, which makes the dish. This had some thin, dark liquid with peas and carrots; not very tasty. The beef and broccoli tasted like a mystery meat. It was breaded and did not have the taste or texture of beef. The wonton soup only had one wonton. This restaurant is on the higher side of typical Chinese food prices. The quality just wasn’t there for the price. They also didn’t give any utensils for our pickup order. I wouldn’t order these dishes again.

If I could give this restaurant zero stars, I would! I used to eat at this place 2 times a week until the wife of the owner hung up on me while I was still placing my order. My husband called back to speak to the owner and he constantly interrupted my husband instead of listening to the reason why we were complaining. He also said we were liars and that his wife is not rude. If you read most of these reviews, several people comment how rude staff is. We went 2 months without eating there until tonight. I go in to pickup the food and after I pay for the food, the owner told me to not come back to his store because my husband, whom he called crazy, was not welcome. How is it that my husband gets called crazy for complaining on his rude wife. This is not the way to treat customers!
