Cafe Aroma is a wonderful spot that truly keeps the authentic Latin flavor alive. From the moment you look at the menu, you can tell this isn’t just a simple café — it’s a celebration of Latin American comfort food. The variety is impressive, with so many traditional dishes and options that it honestly feels impossible to choose just one. The menu is so extensive that I already know I’ll have to come back again (and again) until I’ve tried everything.

On my visit, I ordered the Trio Loco, and it was absolutely satisfying. The two cheese arepas were perfectly cooked, warm, and filling, with that homemade texture that makes them so comforting. The black beans were rich and flavorful, and the chorizo added the perfect savory kick. Everything was served together in a way that felt simple but full of authentic taste.

What I really appreciated is how Cafe Aroma manages to offer food that feels traditional, fresh, and full of character, like something you’d enjoy in a true Latin kitchen.

If you’re looking for a place with real Latin flavors and a menu that invites you to explore more every time you visit, Cafe Aroma is definitely worth checking out. I can’t wait to return and keep tasting my way through it.

The service was very disappointing. From the moment we walked in, the staff member, also the chef was rude and did not welcome us. The restaurant was completely empty except for us, and when we moved a chair to place our bags on it, she immediately told us we couldn’t use it for that, even though no other customers were there. The interaction felt cold and unwelcoming.

My friend and I, both Asians who grew up in South America, were genuinely excited to try Latin American food here. The menu prices seemed relatively affordable, and the menu photos showed decent portion sizes. However, when the food arrived, the portions were extremely small. The pupusa, for example, was about the size of a chicken nugget from McDonald’s. For the price, the quantity was very disappointing.

Overall, the food felt overpriced for the portion sizes, and combined with the unfriendly service, the experience left us feeling uncomfortable.

This place is such a cozy little ️ in the .

Food was homey, loved the spiced hot chocolate, and just the general vibes of like a little home kitchen.

Would recommend giving them a try, it was outside my normal cafe/brunch vibe, but I’m glad I tried something different. Unrelated, as soon as I stepped outside, a ladybug promptly lew into my nose and I could hear it buzz and take its last feeble little bug breaths inside my brain before I hastily blew my nose, coughing and spluttering in front of this homeless guy staring at me. Anyways, that’s not the reason for the 4 stars, service was just a little short, still enjoyed my time ✌️☮️

Just finished an amazing lunch here and cant wait to come back. Mexican tacos, tacos Guatemala and pupusas were all next level. Left with some Inca Cola and dark ketchup from their pantry. Looking forward to trying brunch!

Positive:inexpensive, clean, nice decorated interior, food was delicious and lots of variety. Also sells Latin American groceries.

Neg: None

Food for thought: bring friends and try out all the dishes. Pictures are included and it’s an exact match everytime I order.

If you’re craving something different than the usual eggs Benedict then this is one of those gems that you shouldn’t miss out, it’s a small place but don’t be fooled. It’s got a big heart and the atmosphere and the people that work here have always been awesome.

Ordered the hot fruit tea, coffee, the qasadila and more. Highly recommend it and would definitely be coming back.
