Such a great dinner. The food was super creative and absolutely delicious — every dish felt thoughtful and exciting without being over the top. You can tell a lot of care goes into the menu.

Huge shoutout to Alex, who made the night even better. Friendly, attentive, and really knowledgeable, with great recommendations and perfect timing. Service like that makes a big difference.

We left happy and already talking about coming back. Highly recommend.

A beautiful little restaurant with impeccable food and service. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The drinks and food were very creative and delicious, with high-quality ingredients. I tried the Kiss the Bubble cocktail and the bar tender made the biggest bubble we have ever seen before it burst into air. This process was very entertaining and made everyone at our table and others dining at the restaurant laugh. The plating was thoughtful and aesthetically pleasing. We were particularly impressed by the small plates and salads as well as the salmon entree dish. Price is on the higher side, but perfect for special occasions. The restaurant gave us complimentary bubblies and dessert for our special birthday celebration, including a very pretty, sparkly alcohol-free bubbly for our kid! We really love this restaurant and will come back soon.

Flowers is a true gem! We’ve been meaning to try it for some time now after enjoying dinners at Hero Ranch Kitchen. We’ve gifted friends gift cards to friends (they can be used at both locations) for a couple years now and were lucky to get reservations for ourselves for dinner.

Last night we had the pleasure of being served by Timmy. He was hands-down the best server we’ve ever had. He was very attentive and we appreciated his menu recommendations, and we LOVED his personality. We will request him in the future!

We started off with the ahi tuna tataki appetizer and it was outstanding. The truffle and ponzu sauce complemented the ahi and avocado-edamame mash other really well.

We shared the lobster tail risotto and the filet for our main course. The filet was the highlight of the meal for me. It was cooked perfectly and was absolutely delicious. I personally prefer less fatty cuts of beef, and the filet was very lean, making it easy to enjoy the meal despite its richness. The lobster tail was excellent, also perfectly cooked and complemented well by the saffron risotto. We also added the roasted Brussels sprouts with bacon on the side, soooo good. Again, the chef paired the dish with an incredible sauce to augment the roasted vegetables and cut through the richness of the bacon. Honestly, if I wasn’t eating the meal in public, I would have licked the dishes clean.

We can’t wait to go back for our next meal! And more of Timmy!

Portions are a bit much so be forewarned. We definitely over ordered but will do much better next time. It’s bring your own wine up to six bottles which is spectacular

Love the ambiance and service is definitely a notch above most places.

We walked in without reservations and were given an outdoor table, with a beautiful view of the surroundings. We were worried that we’ll be forgotten outside, but our server, Alexandro was great and attentive and made sure to keep a steady and friendly pulse on us. He recommended the prawn cigars and tuna starters which were great. Also tried the cod and truffle fries.. yummm. Burrata salad was good but a bit salty. Overall a great experience and we’ll be back.

As long-time fans of the sister restaurant Hero Ranch (same ownership & next door neighbor), we decided to kick it up a notch and dine at Flowers. We were not overly impressed.

We shared 3 appetizers & 2 salads. The prawn cigars were great. The seared tuna was pretty good. Charred Brussel sprouts were good. Shaved apple & fennel salad had almost no apples; the beet salad was OK.

Main courses included lamb ossobuco, cod, duck risotto, and lobster tail. Of these, the cod was the clear standout – melt-in-your-mouth tender and flavored just right. Duck and lobsters were… average. Lamb shank was solid. For a chi-chi restaurant, the entrees were solid but did not wow.

We were a bit let down by the decor and vibe. Whereas the prices were up there, the vibe was entirely casual. It made for a very odd combination. We were looking for a somewhat more dressed up place. The hard panels and floors made for a very noisy and unpleasant overall experience. We thought Flowers was trying too hard to be cool but failed with the combo of too-casual atmosphere with a pricey menu that didn’t deliver high-quality culinary experience.

Absolutely outstanding. Special in every way. The food was exceptional – each course delicious and beautifully presented. The ambiance is lovely – stylish, designed by a gifted interior designer. The service was out of this world. And so human. We celebrated a special birthday and promotion and I cannot express enough how the owner and staff made our experience so memorable. This could not have been any nicer of an experience. If I could give 10 stars, I would gladly.

An excellent restaurant in Saratoga, from start to finish, they showed attention to details. The food tastes good, the service is fast and efficient, and the price is just right. All the tables were full, yet it did not feel congested. A reservation is necessary, at least on the weekends.

Simply art for the eyes and taste buds. The atmosphere at Flowers is light, yet formal enough for any special occasion. The cocktails were beautifully presented with a wide range of choices (although no alcohol free beer, which is too bad because there are a growing number of really good artisan low alcohol beers out there).
The food was as gorgeous as it was sumptuous. We stared with the blue fin tuna bites, which was enough for three of us to have one each (so we ordered two orders), along with the prawn cigars (4 in that order). Amazing.
Our party ordered the diver scallops with a crispy rice cake and pork belly, the Cortez halibut with garlic cream, the duck breast with risotto and cherry chutney, and the misoyaki cod with forbidden rice. All were cooked beautifully (the scallops were a tad overdone but that’s being slightly critical). I would have liked the pork belly to have been a little less done too. But the fried rice cake made up for those slight imperfections.
The forbidden rice and cod was a pleasant surprise, definitely the best cod I’ve ever had and paired with the forbidden rice it was a stellar combination. And the halibut was unbelievably good.
Desserts were also decadently good. We ordered the key lime pie, the deconstructed apple pie, and the bread pudding. We all thought the bread pudding stole the show so if you are limited to just one, go with that.
And the service? Quirky and excellent with our server having a great sense of humour and good recommendations.
Less than full marks for their decaf coffee though, but it may have just been a mechanical failure.
This restaurant is worth coming to, and returning to often!

The food is amazingly good. Probably one of the top 5 in the bay area. Alexandru was great, welcoming and made us feel comfortable. We will definitely visit again soon.
