We made a special trip here because about a half mile down the road, our Dad took us fishing when we were kids. We never went quite this far down, so…. Anyway, we wanted a good old-fashioned hamburger and what we got was excellent. Some places charge $14 for a burger these days, but we got bacon cheeseburgers for under $9 and they were great. Got onion rings as a side (extra) and drinks. The service was great. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive and withstood our juvenile humor. The atmostphere was very good as well with the tables spread out enough to avoid feeling crowded. We beat the lunch crowd and our food was brought out hot and fresh. Glad we came here. Oh, and the only regret was the special of the day on Friday (we were there on a Thursday – pulled pork) was chicken livers which I really like. Might plan a Friday trip there.

If i could rate it worse, i would. Me and my family “camped” there this summer and we had MANY issues! Seems as if we weren’t the only ones complaining. Something must have changed this year, and not many like it! Camping is to relax, enjoy the outdoors, friends, and family, but it seems like under this new management, that just isn’t their goal anymore!

The owner Amy is fabulous! Her biscuits are great! She even added oatmeal on the menu for me! My husband loves the breakfast buffet and the burgers! I like the bean burritos with Manuels sauce!

Few years ago it was great place to stay , but now I will never go back with that new lady at store , very rude and after I went out of store she stated talking bout me to customers n to one of my friends in the store ! Really great way to do bussinness !!!!! Not !!!!!!
