i love better buzz, BUT if its feasible for you to drive, GO TO A DIFFERENT LOCATION. I promise I didn’t take a sip out of my drink prior to this picture, but you would think that I did!
I ordered my usual latte, and it seems like they forgot to fill the drink up with oat milk???? That I paid extra for by the way 🙁
And what is SUPER upsetting is that the barista at the drive thru window OPEN UP THE LID in front of me to make sure the drink was mine (bc I asked for whip cream and BTW there is no whip cream in the drink) and she STILL gave me this half-filled drink. I wouldn’t be as upset if they gave me this half-filled drink in general. But it’s the fact that the worker at the drive thru window literally took off the lid in front of me, looked inside, saw that it was half filled, and proceeded to give it to me.
What’s even worse, is that I waited patiently and a long time to receive my drink, and THIS is what I got lol. To wait a long time, have bad service, and not even get a welcome from the drive is insane. Then you throw a half-filled drink without your whip…. maybe the baristas had something against my order. Sorry I guess??
My drink was $8.59. I work hard for money, so to receive a drink that’s not even filled to the top is incredibly disappointing. I will not be coming back, and my friends as for recommendations in OC from me often, and i will not be recommending this exact location to them.
If you still want to check this spot out, go to the one in costa mesa instead or the other one on Coast hwy. And MAKE SURE you take the lid off your hot drink to ensure tis filled all the way up.

Better buzz is the best post-workout treat from the gym across the street (Fort Fitness). The staff is always so welcoming and knowledgeable. Today I got the seasonal peppermint latte and it exceeded expectations. Plus the chili crunch wrap is my absolute favorite food menu item! A must try!

This was my first time trying Better Buzz Coffee and it definitely won’t be my last! I ordered the matcha with strawberry rose cold foam and it was absolutely amazing — perfectly balanced, creamy, and so refreshing. My friend got the “best drink ever” with strawberry cold foam, and it was just as delicious.
On top of the drinks being incredible, the service was outstanding. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. Great vibes, great aesthetic, and even better drinks. Highly recommend!

I love the drinks here! I’ve been to many Better Buzz locations in OC, San Diego, and Arizona, and they consistently have great drinks, friendly service, and a good vibe. This location is no exception in terms of the drinks and the baristas. Everyone we interacted with was super nice and doing a great job.
However, the atmosphere was uncomfortable because of the way the manager or shift lead (Thursday mornings) spoke to the employees. While sitting in the café area, she repeatedly yelled instructions across the room in a harsh, passive-aggressive tone. Later, I overheard her speaking to employees about breaks and lunches in the same way.
The staff were efficient, friendly, and clearly working hard, orders were coming out quickly and customers seemed happy, but hearing that kind of communication made the vibe awkward for customers and, frankly, unfair to the employees. Maybe it was just a bad moment or day, but it really stood out. Employees deserve to be treated with the same respect and kindness that customers receive.

interesting cafe. the food is very tasty. the coffee is excellent. the atmosphere is just gun. the background music gives great peace and the opportunity to communicate with the interlocutor. the people here are friendly. a huge hello to the owner of the dog Chase (a cool dog, obedient, affectionate). verdict. if you want to eat well and drink excellent coffee, then you should go there. and if you are in a bad mood, then this cafe will cheer you up. well, if you are a boogeyman, then the road there is closed to you.

Better Buzz coffee is the best! We were staying in the area for a few days and happen to luck upon this place. Josh did a great job at explaining the menu as well as drinks. We had the breakfast bagel, banana bread and mocha’s. Everything for exceeded our expectations. We are heading out right now to get breakfast to join you again.

My first time here at better buzz and the staff could not have been any more friendly as they helped me set up with their rewards program and gave me several drink recommendations and opinions of what they thought of a few of the many options on the menu. Decided to give their new banana pudding best drink ever a try and was pleasantly surprised by the flavor profile being so similar to what the name leads you to expect. Caroline made me feel welcomed from the moment I came in the door shortly followed my Daisy and Moose having my drink ready for me before I could pull my laptop out – despite the number of other people also ordering drinks at the same time. Will most definitely be returning soon!
