Quick to get the food out. The marinara Sicilian had a tasty sauce. Crusts are crusty but not cracker. I’d go for the eggplant parm next time.
Best part is it feels like your at your aunt and uncles place. Friendly, attentive, and cheerful.
Better to come here than across the street. I’ve been to both while visiting folks at the hospital and Forest Ave Pizza was the clear winner.

As someone who works all over the state is one of the best pizza places I’ve been too. There meatball slice/hero is the best I’ve ever had and overall all there slices I’ve tried have been excellent.

Thought I as going just into a local pizza place in glen cove . Wife and I wanted to have a meal there .ordered baked clams , entrees, chicken and eggplant dish . Tasted and my taste buds woke up . This so called pizza place is now my go too Italian restaurant. Service and food above par . I will take this 8 miles drive every week to enjoy a fair , tasty , delicious food restaurant all day long thanks forest pizza and family restaurant . See you real soon

My 2 year old wouldn’t even eat the pizza. The chicken Parmesan was terrible. No flavor in their sauces , they use cheap cheese. Very bland .

Who knew?? Best pizza by far. Where V pizza dough is too hard, Forest is too soft. But, the taste, the flavor, more than makes up for it. So cheesy and flavorful. Did I mention the size of the slice. It’s so big, it’s huge. Two people can eat one slice. When you bite into it, you can’t help but say to yourself, they don’t make pizza like this anymore. I remember seeing a coupon in the paper. I can’t recall the details. But, go get it if you see it, this pizza is delicious, the aroma is like, wow, just go get a pie, your friends, family and stomach will thank you for it, so yummy.

The dough on the Sicilian slice was raw. Taking a bit into raw dough was not pleasant. Highly recommend cooking the pizza longer. 0/10 don’t go here
