My husband and I first discovered Oros Fireside a year ago while celebrating our anniversary (we were visiting from Arizona). We’ve been talking about it ever since! Now that we’ve moved nearby, it was our very first stop after unpacking, and it did not disappoint. The bacon alone is worth the trip: thick, savory, and perfectly cooked. The Dungeness crab Benedict is another must-try, rich and flavorful without being heavy. We’re thrilled to make this our new Sunday tradition!

Stopped by Oros Fireside in Cannon Beach. I ordered the BLT with Cajun fries and the food itself was great juicy, flavorful, and really hit the spot. Unfortunately, the experience was overshadowed by some issues. My drink was served in a dirty glass with a lipstick stain, and the silverware was also dirty, so new ones had to be brought out. Service wasn’t the best, which took away from what could have been a much better visit.

My husband and I loved this place for breakfast. It was clean, and the atmosphere was bright and inviting. We were seated quickly, (next to the fireplace thank you!) and found the service to be excellent! They checked in without hovering, refilled my coffee (something that is rare these days) and were really nice to talk to. My husband had the large Buttermilk pancakes and loved them. I had the half portion of Dungeness Crab Benedict that was sooooo good. We highly recommend this tasty place to have breakfast or lunch, we hope you’ll love it too!

This place was wonderful! We had walked around to some other nearby restaurants that had a really long wait (50+ min) and stumbled upon this place. They got us right in and it was the best meal we had on our vacation! Crab Louie salad, burgers, Bloody Mary and even a margarita flight! Servers were all really nice, too!

Nestled just off the misty coastline of Cannon Beach, Oreo’s Fireside Restaurant feels like a hug in breakfast form. We stopped in for a classic morning spread of eggs, hashbrowns, ham, and bacon and every bite delivered comfort and care.
The eggs were perfectly cooked, with yolks that held just the right amount of richness. The hashbrows were golden and crisp with a hint of seasoning that made it more than just a side, it was a star in its own right. The wheat toast was warm and hearty, ideal for sopping up the last bits of yolk or layering with a swipe of butter. The ham and bacon were very good as well. The whole dish was exactly what you hope for when you’re craving a no-nonsense, satisfying breakfast.
But what truly elevated the experience was the service. The staff at Oreo’s didn’t just serve food, they served warmth. Attentive without hovering, friendly without being forced, they made us feel like regulars even on our first visit. It’s the kind of hospitality that lingers long after the plates are cleared.
Whether you’re fueling up before a beach walk or just craving a breakfast that feels like home, Oreo’s Fireside delivers. It’s a place where the food is good, the people are better, and the vibe is pure Cannon Beach charm.

I don’t usually cross-post reviews, but I had to come on here after seeing a sudden wave of negative comments clearly coming from the same small group of people. It’s honestly disappointing to see folks put so much energy into tearing down a local, family-run business just because they didn’t like a basic policy (like not bringing in outside drinks — which is standard literally everywhere).
This restaurant is the real deal. The food is always delicious, the staff is kind and welcoming, and every time I’m back in town from college, this is one of my must-stop spots. It’s also the first place my husband’s family asks about when they visit from the Midwest — they still talk about how good breakfast was here.
So I just wanted to take five minutes to add a little truth to the mix: this place is worth your time and worth supporting. Go try it for yourself — the steak and eggs never miss.

Breakfast and Lunch. Great food in a beautiful dining room, centered with a gas fireplace with real naked flames giving the cabin a comfy atmosphere. Great food and great staff. Try the chowder.

We go to Oro’s for breakfast every time we drive to the coast. The breakfast skillet is my favorite, but you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Delicious food, and super nice people.

I had a wonderful little breakfast with my family the week of Christmas 2025. The fireplace and log cabin atmosphere was perfect. The family run restaurant had excellent service and my eggs benedict was delicious and I would recommend.
