Banter is the perfect spot to get a delicious meal for a great price and incredible ambiance. The restaurant is gorgeous and I’m obsessed with the high ceilings and nature look. The food is VERY delicious so be ready to be put in a food coma! I got the market omelette and yogurt parfait for breakfast, both items were flavorful and the portions were huge! Also service was phenomenal, huge shout out to Jose, Caesar and Yusmila, for caring and ensuring everything was perfect!

Banter is a great spot within the Canopy hotel to grab a quick breakfast in the morning, which is what I did, or happy hour after work. Loved the wide open and bright space of this establishment which is located right in the lobby area of the hotel.

I was very excited to make a reservation here, as I am a foodie and loved all the pictures I’ve seen about this place. Brought my family here for Easter and was disappointed overall. They had one poor server to take care of almost all the tables. Saw the manager running around and one bus boy. Not our servers fault as she was super busy, but our glasses were empty most of the time, our food took FOREVER to get…. Literally saw 4 different tables of people get up and leave… either before their order was even taken (because they were there for like 20 minutes before even being acknowledged) and the others after they ordered but left cause the food took SO long.
We were the first brunch reservation there at 11am, and we left at 1:30….
The food for the most part was great, except my waffles…. They were cold… after mentioning it to the waitress, she did take it off our bill.
If they get more employees, I’ll be back… they need more help!!!

I went in on a weeknight and it was really dead so the atmosphere wasn’t that great. But the bartender was awesome and I really enjoyed my cocktail and dinner. Be aware that they do add 20% gratuity to your check before giving it to you so don’t get duped into double tipping!

Food was decent , but the service was the worst I have seen in ages. I sat for 10 minutes waiting for someone to acknowledge me , during this time I watched 10 people leave due to the same lack of customer service. This is pretty sad as they looked fully staffed , just no one cares.

I first off would like to give a shoutout to our amazing team waitress, Hillary. She was so friendly and did such an amazing job attending to gluten allergies. Having said that, be careful because the menu isn’t updated so if it says gluten free be sure to double check with your server first.
The food was delicious and so was the service and there is street parking available. It’s a very nice ambiance and it’s located in a Hilton hotel on the main floor. I recommend this spot.

So I’ve stayed at the Canopy when it first opened in 2020. Although it was in the heart of the pandemic I would give it a 5 star. Today I visited Banter/Treehouse restaurant for the first time. I would have to say I was very disappointed in the service and food. The food looked amazing, but very bland. Drink was very watered down and not worth the price. They asked for a credit card before I ordered. I said I was paying cash, they still wanted one. Keep in mind I’m on a Rooftop 13 stories up only way out is through the restaurant and in the elevators or jump to my death over the balcony. Not a great policy at all. Other guests got silverware and napkins and I was handed plastic utensils. I had to ask for silverware. There was a bug in my food. I told the server he did not respond. Another guest told him and he came over and asked if I needed a box to go. I responded no and he then said sorry, but that was the down side of dinning outside. I asked for a manager to voice my complaints. He was very attentive and said he appreciated my input. As a manager I would have comp everything. I would like to give them another chance, but not sure that I will. Even if all went well the food was still not good.
