I almost hate to leave this bad review because the lady who answered the phone was super nice and helpful, but our food was not good at all. This was our first time eating here and unfortunately, we will not be back. We had a burnt deep fried appetizer and wings. The wings tasted like very old grease, and the 3 sauces, or lack there of, had a lot to be desired. Every sauce was exactly the same. It was a watery, buttered, somewhat what we ordered flavor of a taste if that makes sense. Had no flavor really. With all the wings next to each other, you couldn’t distinguish which was which. We decided to use our own sauce from the refrigerator. Just very disappointing.

Ordered the 5 oz cheeseburger & beer battered fries for takeout and was pretty disappointed with the small portion size and quality for $19. Burger was very dry and tasteless. Probably would not order here again unfortunately.

Had breakfast on Easter Sunday. We enjoyed our breakfast very much. My extremely picky boyfriend even said it was better than The Doghouse. We will be back for breakfast, more food, and drinks!

Overall great experience, wings are great, mashed potatoes are good, pool table was open so we shot some pool, waitress was so nice and friendly and took great care of her (I forget her name but something that started with a N) definitely will be back

Nice place. It’s a neighborhood bar. Food was great, service was exceptional and the atmosphere was great. Very comfortable place to eat. Very clean. Bathrooms were clean. I am sorry that I forgot to take pictures. Will definitely return.

Don’t judge Tonya’s Tavern by the outside of the building. Walk inside and experience delicious food at reasonable prices in a friendly atmosphere!
I had a cup of lobster bisque and a roast beef sub for lunch. Both were delicious! The beef is roasted onsite and is extreme tender. It comes with a horseradish sauce that is one of the best I’ve had.
Tonya, the owner, couldn’t have been any nicer and kept the iced teas coming.
