I went on opening day and really loved it. The menu was made up of classic Bar and Grill food and was very good. The drinks were reasonably priced for Portsmouth and I saw that they are open till 1am Thursday – Saturday which might make it a go to late night spot after a night out. My wife and I split the steak and cheese and it was so good. There are tons of places that serve plain fries in Portsmouth and these were up there as some of my favorites, perfectly crisp, perfectly salted, and served nice and hot. We sat at the bar and the service was excellent, and quick to get us our drinks and our food. Overall it’s a great casual spot to get a quick bite and drink if you’re in Portsmouth, that won’t disappoint. Prices are in the lower end for Portsmouth and it seems to have something on the menu for everyone.

The only reason for the 4 on atmosphere is because it was a little loud, but understandable given the size and the fact that its a locals bar. The burger was amazing and, since they didn’t have a side of A1, the chef came out and asked if he could have a few minutes to make some from scratch. Amazing service and, needless to say, his was much better!!! Highly recommend!!

An absolute dream of a dining experience. Went with a friend, we got an order of the tenders and their rodeo burger. The service was wonderful and laidback, the atmosphere was calm and homey, and the food was impeccable. Absolutely worth the money, and well worth going out of your way to check this place out.
