Got the lunch special chicken sandwich. I ate half for lunch and thought it wasn’t quite right. Super oily and heavy. But when I ate the other half for dinner, it was stringy and gamey. I realized it was dark meat, which I’ve never had in a chicken sandwich, but also that it might’ve gone off. This was Friday. When I called, the girl that answered said she didn’t know what kind of meat was used and the owner wouldn’t be back until Monday. Very very poor service when there’s a concern for health standards. And at $16, it’s not cheap. Also the $4 coleslaw was awful. First and last time I’ll ever eat from there.

Clean new restaurant in Caldwell. Nice addition to all the pizzerias and Chinese restaurants we usually end up ordering from. Ordered online easily and was sent a text saying meal should be ready for pickup. Headed out a few minutes later and still had to wait a bit when I got there. Had the honey garlic boneless wings and ‘surprise’ dumplings, since there’s no description of what exactly is in them (they’re chicken). I asked the guy at the counter while picking up my order, and he couldn’t tell me anything about them other than that they’re really good, hence the 4⭐️ for service. We also had the galbi wings both with and without bones and a side of rice (nothing special). Chicken is nice and crispy even after takeout, which is a rarity with fried takeout. I also really enjoyed the pickled radish. 8pcs is a great portion for a nice lunch with leftovers. Didn’t realize there was an actual lunch menu as it’s not listed on the website. Maybe next time, but i appreciate the larger portion, so… maybe not . Great new addition to our lunch menu, but maybe some extra sauces on the side for dipping and the $3 delivery charge is a bit steep when you’re
already $50+ for lunch.

Amazing selection of fried chicken. We ordered the original and soy garlic fried chicken and loved them both! The pickled radish goes so well with the fried chicken. The outlet is also located near the Gregor Cleveland Park playground, makes a great lunch stop after playing with the kids at the park. The restaurant is kids friendly, strollers can easily be wheeled in and they have clean high chairs for the little ones too. Highly recommend visiting this place for eat in/take out!

Some of the best Korean fried chicken I’ve had in the area. They are quick to prepare food, knowledgeable and it’s new and clean inside. It’s very reasonably priced. I got the 8 piece wings in the secret sauce and they fell off the bone after the first bite. It still manages to stay crispy even in the sauce and boxed up to go. My only gripe is that there isn’t a sauce sampler so I could try them all. The secret sauce was good but I don’t think its my favorite. You kind of have to stick to one and hope you like it. Might be best to try a bunch with friends so you know which ones you like. Note, there is only street parking which can be tricky for a quick pick up if you’re by yourself.

Ordered for a family of four, and the portions most definitely did not disappoint. We ordered the ‘Whole Chicken’, two Caribbean bowls, Boneless wings, and Traditional wings. The food was wonderfully seasoned, crunchy and absolutely delicious. The restaurant has brought a new side of food and culture to Caldwell. If you like to explore different culture and love food with a lot of flavor I would definitely recommend ‘bb.q Chicken Caldwell’

Food was great, but no water available, even upon request.
Despite paying for the food upfront, the restaurant still asks for a tip of 18-22%. I decided to tip because we were eating in. The place looks pretty low frills, so I wasn’t expecting table service with a server bringing out the food, but I was expecting free tap water upon request. In the US, all the food places I’ve been to have provided water for free, including food courts. This location did not have anything like that set up, instead offering Fiji water for purchase. I’m not paying $5 for a water! Cashier was nice enough to offer water out of a Styrofoam bowl, but this speaks to management’s greed in forcing customers to purchase a drink.
Please don’t charge a tip if you can’t even provide water to your paying customers. I won’t be dining in until I’m sure this water issue has been addressed.
Restaurant basics come on.
Might still order out cause food was tasty though, would recommend the Galbi flavored wings, rose Tteok-bokki, and cheeseling fries.

Seems like a fast casual restaurant but fair warning it took 15-20 min for my order to be ready. They did tell me that after I ordered and were on time, but I probably would have pre ordered it had I known.
That aside, this chicken is phenomenal. I got a small (8 piece) Gangnam style boneless. The sauce has spice but nothing overwhelming, great flavor. The chicken is so crispy. I couldn’t finish in one sitting and even after reheating in the oven the next day it’s still crispy. Will definitely go back to try other sauces

Nice atmosphere, friendly, attentive people behind the counter. Their fried chicken was delicious! If you’re a fan of spicy get the Hot Mala. Definitely will be back!
