The soup was good, I recommend the beef over the duck. Request chili flakes with oil to enhance the spice level if you enjoy spicy food.
I’m huge on aesthetics and the indoor decor is becoming of the cuisine.
I didn’t expect to eat such big portions of food. The main dish was giant, and tasted amazing!!. I couldn’t finish it and ended up taking it home. The beef sticks were not good and the corn was not good either because the seasoning didn’t match the corn taste(the corn and beef stick have the same seasoning). everything else was yummy.
The bathroom is not the best since is not that accessible for people with disabilities. and they don’t have dry paper towels which can make things uncomfortable because I feel like I’m touching more bacteria while opening the bathroom door or closing the faucet.
Spicy pork dumplings were not spicy at all, maybe they put the wrong seasoning ? Chicken wings with fried rice was ok. Will give it a second chance again and update.
I really wanted to like this place, but not what I expected. Since this was opened not long ago and close to my house, I decided to give it a try.
Restaurant: 3/5
Food: 2/5
Service: 1/5
Parking: Combo of Street meter parking and limited free parking lot in the back.
Restaurant itself looks pretty nice, the decors are modern. Tables and chairs are clean. Couldn’t say the same about restroom.
Food is at best average, we ordered couple things to try.
-Assorted Skewers (Dry and overcooked, flavor is good at least)
-Beef Brisket Ramen (Broth taste good, but barely room temperature. Protein is plentiful but it is like chewing on leather)
-Beijing Bang (Nothing special, a fancy way to make Lo Mein. Ramen was slightly undercooked)
Service… oh boy. From the moment we walked in, we probably should have turn around and walk out, the restaurant was empty. But I decided to give them a benefit of the doubt. We’re greeted with less than unwelcome enthusiasm from the lady working the desk/tables, as if we just ruined her day.
We sat down on our table, presented with a menu, was almost rushed into ordering our food. After we ordered and while still eating talking. We weren’t even ask if we needed a box or take our leftover, the lady just dropped off our check, without a word. As if we’re being told, ok hurry up, eat and get out. Keep in mind, we were not showing any hostility or negativity towards the food or the restaurant. I can understand it if they are super busy, but there was only one other family that came in after us. Needless to say, we decided not to even finish our food or pack them to go, paid for our meal and left.
To sum it up… Noodle is there, just no Magic (at all). At the end of the experience, I almost wanted to apologize to my girlfriend for wanting to try this place when we’re both hungry.
Would we go back? No, absolutely not. We would rather forget about this whole entire experience.
TIP: If you want a fun Ramen experience. Go across the street to (Rayaki Ramen). Much better service and food.
