Amazing good food at this mom n pop secret gem. The portions were huge! Service was excellent and only a short wait for table of 7. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and will be returning. See pics of the food and the amazing bakery they have too! If you have not been and you’re near the area I highly recommend you go. The kids meals are affordable and large portions and the kids loved them. We had a mix of breakfast and lunch foods.

Update: Went for breakfast again. Coffee is the best I’ve had at a restaurant. Had the Club Omelet, and it was delicious!! 4/5/25. The food was excellent. I had the BLT Omelet, and it was delicious. Fresh ingredients, crisp lettuce, great size, and value for the money. My husband had the stuffed hashbrown and loved it. We bought giant cinnamon rolls and sour dough bread from their bakery. Excellent! We will be going back. It’s worth the drive.

We went here for a birthday brunch. The food was to all of our liking. I had a Belgian waffle and an order of biscuits and gravy. The waffle was an excellent texture and flavor. The sausage and gravy dish wasn’t like any other biscuits and gravy I’ve ever had. I don’t know what spices they used but it was yummy with a hint of spicy heat. The biscuits were thick and crumbly inside which was good.
The others at the table:
One got the BLT with cheese and fries. It looked amazing. The bacon was thick and appeared perfectly cooked. The fries were delicious too.
Someone ordered the chicken and waffles. They were happy with their order and it the chicken fingers looked yummy.
Finally the last order was a chicken pickle sandwich. She exclaimed, “finally someone who gets it and put the right amount of pickles on a sandwich” so big win for this pick too. All in all the place was excellent.

I loved the decorations, the table spacing, and the fast service! The servers were friendly, however she didn’t smile when we walked in. She was knowledgeable about the drinks without looking at a menu. I got the stuffed hashbrowns and they were too greasy, and the toast had too much butter. I believe the potato was fresh not frozen, however it was turning black. My fiance got the chicken and waffles and loved it!

We have eaten here a few times in the past. It’s what I would consider a classic breakfast. Our food in the past has been decent. Then today we did a take out order. Unfortunately, I was served what was the worst biscuits and gravy I have ever tried to consume. The gravy is almost as if it is a brown gravy with sausage bits added, and very very oily. Quite frankly I’ve had better foil packaged gravy than what I got today. To the point I couldn’t even finish 1 of the 4 biscuits served with it. Especially at the $10 price point.
Disappointing to say the least.

This little restaurant had absolutely delicious food and great service. What a gem! I will be back. I ended up eating both breakfast and lunch…salad was super fresh. I asked for a dry omelette with less cheese and it was perfect. The portabella mushrooms made the veggie omelette particularly delicious.

Was in the area looking for a donut and stopped in here, not a huge selection but damn good. Possibly the best cinnamon roll I ever had and I used to live near Johnsons corner and this is much better! Can’t wait to come back and try other food.

Service at The Homestead was solid on a Saturday at 10AM! The cinnamon roll was out of this world, the biscuits and gravy were fluffy and savory, and the a la carte menu was a great value to try different menu items.
