My son introduced me to the owner of Big Shirley’s and he got the pulled pork and I got the brisket both with collard greens and Mac and cheese. EVERYTHING was absolutely delicious and on point. I’m a chef for over 25 years and was very impressed. I can’t wait to go back again. God bless and thank you for an amazing lunch. The owner was very kind, the truck was very clean. Very professional. Food was good , collard greens were good but slightly overcooked. Server was polite and nice , I had 2 dollars of quarters to pay my bill and even after insisting to pay him , he refuses to take it. The macaroni and cheese incredible.

The brisket was like eating jerky. It was so tough I couldn’t even chew it. I ended up eating the bread and having to throw out the rest of the meat. The Mac and cheese was amazing though.

Hubby and I ordered the brisket dinner which comes with two sides. I chose mac & cheese and collard greens. The brisket was tender and full of flavor while the mac & cheese was creamy and delicious. We didn’t need any barbecue sauce at all! Thank you, Big Shirley BBQ for an amazing dinner. We will be back soon!

Saw this truck on US1 so we decided to give it a try. To our disappointment, the food was mediocre at best. The ribs were hard, dry & over cooked. The collard greens were mushy and the baked beans were watery. The mac n cheese was the best on yhe entire plate. For the price we paid for each plate, I expected better. The guy was very friendly but the food seemed as if it was yesterday’s leftovers.
