Five stars all the way for House of Pho in Lakewood, Washington. I ordered the Pho broth with vegetables and it was absolutely delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. The service hit that perfect balance of being attentive without hovering, which made the whole experience relaxing and enjoyable. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the price point was just right, making the meal feel like a great value. Everything lined up perfectly, from the food to the service to the vibe of the place. This is definitely a spot worth coming back to.

The pho broth was delicious, and the pork banh mi is really good. Price for a big bowl is like $13. The old man at the counter was really nice and seemed enthusiastic about their pho. I only waited for 2 minutes before getting my food.

This might be my favorite Pho place closest to JBLM. Pho isn’t mainstream in Washington so the prices are so cheap! I like to eat pho with my raw meat on the side with lime (usually on a plate), but they put it on the rim of the bowl here. This is the first time I’ve ever seen this. The broth was good and the meat and vegetables were fresh! I also ordered Togo for dinner. The vermicelli noodles were fresh as well and the egg rolls were still crispy when I got back to my hotel. Atmosphere was nice and calm, but the service could have been much better. I was never checked on and my cup never refilled even after I got up to order Togo. The person serving me was on the phone the e tire time, and it was in speaker. I know I was the only customer, but that was unprofessional. This restaurant could have easily gotten 5 stars from me if the service was better.

The pho is good but for the prices it’s not really worth it. For their “medium” it’s pretty small. Even their vermicelli bowl is small too. The older man and the younger girl are very nice !

I ordered a #3 medium and a Thai tea with less milk. I normally don’t drink much of the broth because the flavors are too salty or it is too watery, but this broth is a great balance. The vegetables for the pho were fresh (if you’ve been served old bean sprouts and mints in the past then you know the disappointment). The pho was $11.99, which is reasonable. It was the best meal for a rainy dark day, thank you!

Fast and friendly service. Eggroll is delicious, fresh and crunchy, its just missing fresh lettuce leaves with it. Briskett pho and their vegetable fried rice were both delicious. The restaurant is clean and tidy. I highly recommend this reataurant if you are in the neighborhood. Plenty parking too.

Came back here today Dec. 12, 2025, to have some pho. Unfortunately, I lowered it to two stars. It’s just okay. They have increased the price, give less meat and only once piece of tendon and hardly any trip. They also don’t include the “meatballs”. The large bowl is smaller than what the regular size bowl used to be. I also didn’t smell any Star anise. The soup was hot but not steaming like it used to be. The water had a weird taste to it, also. It’s a shame. Seems like every place is giving you less, charging you more and cutting back on ingredients that used to define this wonderful soup. I won’t be back. Check the difference in my photos.

I have been going here for years. Have never had a bad experience. The best Pho around, in my opinion. Have eaten Pho for over 35 years. Love this place. Tonight the tendon wasn’t quite as soft as it usually is and not as much meat. So will have to deduct a star is for that. There was also no refilling of water. I have only had the #1 item. And tonight was the only time I went for dinner. Always go at lunch. I think lunch is slightly better. More meat and deeper flavor. Still the best deal around, though. Staff is very friendly.

Pho was amazing here. Gorgeous decor with plants and photos adorning the walls. Very calm atmosphere for lunch. I didn’t get a before picture of the soup but I got the aftermath and my testimony that it was good haha. Would come here again if I pass through here.

The Pho tasted ordinary, and I can’t tell if any extra effort has been put into it or not. But compared with other Pho I dinned, it tasted less substantial. This restaurant won’t be on my top ten Pho places or recommended to my friends or family.
