Stopped at this store on my way home to grab lunch for the kids and myself. Food was great, hot and FRESH!!! They had extremely friendly service. Anymore, It’s hard to find a place to eat fast food and see everyone smiling, friendly and happy to help. There was probably about 7 other cars on the lot and we got our order pretty fast. It’s great to find a fast food place that seems to take pride in their work still. Thank you Sonic Team on Preston Rd in Frisco, TX.

This is my third visit to this location, and they’ve messed up my order on two of those visits. The quality of both the service and the food has gone downhill compared to years ago. Honestly, I can get better service and accuracy at In-N-Out than at this Sonic.

The food is getting worse and worse. Took 20 mins to get a chicken sandwich, and then it came out like this. The tots are as hard as a rock and taste like they are cooked in old grease. This place should be shut down. This is not how Frisco TX does things.

Not a big deal that they forgot to ring my drinks up as a large and brought out mediums., I asked the carhop they were super cool about it promptly just gave me two large drinks in exchange. I really appreciate that.

They have removed half of the stalls for either mobile ordering only or eating only. I haven’t been able to use the new credit card system because it’s been down for who knows how long now. I think I’m going to pass on this location for a while.

I’m really starting to like this Sonic again. I’ve been coming here occasionally over the past 5 years, and the service has really improved the last couple of months. The carhops have been friendly, service has been fast, and the drinks have been good.
Tip: I always order my drinks ahead on the app. You can get all drinks and slushes 1/2 price any time.

I pull up to the speaker for an after dinner treat with my toddler. It’s around 8pm. I press the button and immediately they say, “It’s going to be a 15 minute wait for your order.” I said, “You don’t even know what I’m ordering yet and it’s only 4 cars in the lot – it still will be 15 minutes?” She says, “Yes”.
I proceed to order two pretzel twist and a natural lemonade (I really didn’t feel like finding another place and my son was already excited about the pretzels, so we waited). We got our order at 8:18pm. Granted the pretzels were hot but I’ve worked in fast food before and I’m certain it didn’t take that long to cook to pretzels. What also frustrated me was there were two young girls playing in the front door. One was sitting on the food prep table, literally her bottom was on the table WITH HER FEET UP, the other was standing around on her phone. This is completely unacceptable and I hope the Operating Partner or District Manager see this for corrective action.

This Sonic provides a slightly better than average experience for a fast-food restaurant, but I’m not real happy about trying a new sandwich that’s advertised as being on “Texas” toaat that is thicker than regular bread, yet it came on thin, regular bread. Not exactly the sandwich I was expecting. This Grilled Cheese Double Burger was delicious, but I’d love to know how it tastes as it’s advertised.

The location seems clean. However, I had to repeat my order 3 or 4 times because the guy didn’t seem to know the menu. Also, all of the ice cream prices were a dollar more each when he rand up the order vs what the menu showed. He said he couldn’t change anything and the menus must be old. Unacceptable!! The manager needs to get off his butt and update the menus or knock the prices back down.
