After an especially tough two weeks, my girlfriends and I treated ourselves to an afternoon of delicious food, heartfelt conversation, and a bit of retail therapy ️. We started at Souflee and then I happily convinced the group to wrap up our day at The Scoop—and what a perfect decision that was!
Although I missed saying hi to Cassie , the entire team made our visit feel like a big warm hug. The young lady in the black t-shirt working in the back, the incredibly charismatic young man who helped us with our ice cream and kept us laughing with great conversation, and the sweet blonde young woman who wrapped up our experience—each of them added such a joyful, personal touch.
From the locally made ice cream to the thoughtful gifts and top-tier customer service, The Scoop really is a one-stop shop for happiness. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, it’s an experience well worth the trip—and one we won’t soon forget!

Fun little spot full of delicious ice cream flavors and a unique gift shop experience. Been coming here for years. Kids love it. Beware, the fresh waffle is soft! This surprised my wife. It was still great, but it just want what she expected.

Got a classic sundae, which came with two scoops, choice of hot fudge or caramel topping, whipped cream, chopped pecans, and a cherry. I chose hot fudge with Mexican vanilla and Dutch chocolate. Simple flavors, but very good ice cream. Both flavors were rich and creamy.

This place has the best ice cream I’ve ever had in my 42 years of life. The staff is super friendly and the rotating selection keeps things interesting. The atmosphere is inviting and is set inside a specialty shop. No point in going anywhere else for ice cream. Be sure to get the “Sweet Rewards” frequent flier card!! Also posted on Yelp)

I went multiple times with friends, and truly enjoyed it. While the attached boutique clothing isn’t quite my style, there are always things I come back for. The variety of the ice cream/shake/float options. The ingenious mostly handmade and unique home decor. There is something for everyone and history is displayed with pride.

The chocolate raspberry ice cream is so good! Very smooth and tasted like there was sea salt in the ice cream. There were big chunks of chopped up chocolate. The flavor of the raspberry is very nice. They also have Sorbet. They had a very bright red Sorbet I’ll try next time. You can walk around and shop then, have a seat at one of the bistro tables and enjoy a cup or cone of ice cream or sorbet. Sounds like a plan……I went back to The Scoop. Raspberry sorbet is the bright red one I wanted to try. Mmmm….the espresso bean was a Joy to my taste buds indeed.

The sea salt cookie fudge ice cream is out of this world fantastic and the other flavors are great as well!
So the sea salt cookie fudge us a seasonal flavor but the Dutch chocolate and Mexican vanilla are awesome wasn’t a fan of the salted carmel as it tasted like coffee, I love my coffee but not that flavor when I ordered and am expecting salted carmel…. taste test first people!!!!!

Cute little ice cream shop in Cibolo. Nice to see so many food options in Cibolo now. The ice cream shop is part of a larger store selling many Texas themed items from clothes, soaps, novelties, jewelry, etc… It reminded me of the little shops in Fredericksburg or Gruene. There are about 5 tables and a couch for sitting and eating ice cream in the store and a few tables on the sidewalk.
The ice cream is home-made and of good quality. The workers were very polite and helpful. Ordered 2 scoops if the pecan pie and monkey madness (banana based) in a cup and 1 scoop of the peach ice cream on a cone. The scoops were the standard size of an ice ice cream shop. Definitely tasted homemade with fresh ingredients. Tasted similar to Lick ice cream in San Antonio.
Will definitely come back next time in Cibolo to try the shakes, malts, and banana splits. Nice dessert spot to try after dinner at the many restaurants or bars on Main Street.

I had a wonderful experience here at The Scoop! The two ladies that whipped up my Sundae were chipper, pleasant, & made sure I enjoyed my order. The Sundae was delicious & not too pricey for the amount served. Glad I stopped by & will certainly be back for moree!
