Most of our area lost electricity due to the major snow storm. We went out to get something to eat for dinner. Chick-fil-a was closed so we decided the next closest for chicken was Popeyes. There were about 8 or 9 employees & 6 were bagging food. I stood there at the counter for 5 minutes while they all looked at me & continued to do other things. Not a word or even a smile. No word of, “I’ll be with you shortly”. Only one other customer inside waiting for his food. After 5 minutes I said, “excuse me”. Finally, one girl asked, “ do you want to place an order?” Ummm, yes please! I ordered 1 of the 2 chicken sandwiches with cheese. We get home to eat our dinner since we had candles lit all over the house for lighting, and after 3 bites into the chicken sandwich I realize the paper separator for the cheese is still on the cheese. WTH!!!! I could not get it off since the cheese was melted to the paper at this point. Mind you, we have no electric so it could not be reheated to remove it. Last visit I’ll make to Popeyes. I get most kids don’t want to work these days but Popeyes, DO BETTER with your hiring. I commend those employees for coming into work in bad situations getting there but they really need customer service training. Bad experience from the moment I wanted to order & the day was already stressful from the storm & no electric.

Kayla is an excellent employee at Popeyes. She works very fast, is always on top of her tasks, and never forgets an order. She is consistently friendly and polite to me, which makes the experience better for me and everyone else that comes there . So I don’t really eat a lot of fried foods. But today I had a taste for a piece of fried chicken. Went through the drive through ordered food. My greedy spirit couldn’t wait until I got home so I doven. The chicken was not done so I turned right around and took it back. They were very accommodating. She even threw in a extra piece of chicken. So the chicken was horrible. A lot of fat on the chicken that makes me think that it was not properly cleaned. The chicken wing was done. But the other 2 pieces were not didn’t have no taste. I thought it was spicy. And it wasn’t. You live in, you learn. I will never go boo Papa’s again when I have a Taste for fried chicken.

Order the new blackened chicken sandwich and heard them say spicy when I got to the window. They specifically told me they corrected the sand which. All I got was a spicy original chicken sandwich. Which is a shame because I wanted to try the new one. Poor service usually from this store and the never ever offer sauces if you don’t remember it’s on you.

Food was as expected. Service was not. In all three of my interactions with the employees, I’ve felt unwanted. Got eyes rolled at me when I asked for a fork, and all the employees collectively stared at my girlfriend as if it was their first time seeing a woman.
