We stumbled upon Brunswick Family Restaurant on our drive from Cleveland back to Columbus, and we’re so glad we did! The food was amazing—fresh, flavorful, and truly home-cooked. Our waitress was awesome and made us feel right at home, and the owner was on site and so welcoming. A wonderful family restaurant we’re happy we found!

Traveling around the country we enjoy finding the small family owned restaurants. Brunswick family restaurant met and exceeded our expectations. Great food wonderful staff. We were welcomed like family. Their New York Strip steak was perfect. Hubby tried the swarma wrap chicken special sauce pickle wrap very tasty. Nice friendly clean with great homemade food.

I don’t know if the waitress was having a bad day but boy were they grouchy. Food was ok at best. There was no charm to this restaurant. I’d like to say I’ll give them another shot but there are so many better places in the area.

If you want friendly service, amazing food and a family friendly atmosphere come here! My husband had a chesse and bacon omelet that did not disappoint. I had french toast with bacon and it hit the spot . The bacon was well worth the extra change! Please stop in and give this place your bussiness if you’re from out of town. It feels like home and well worth the stop in! The best breakfast place in Brunswick in my opinion!

I feel like they are short staffed whenever we visit, which makes the wait for sitting down and placing an order on the longer side of things. It can also make the server really flustered if they are the only one on the floor, but I also understand that level of stress can be daunting and feel bad whenever someone is unkind or impatient with them.
The food is really good, so the wait is worth it.
The owner personally comes out every so often and is really kind and seems to care a lot about his food.
My family concurs they have the best pancakes.
The building itself, while having some colorful decorations, seems to be an older building and is showing its age, especially in the worn and torn booths, uncomfortable chairs and crowded placement.
Overall it is one of the better breakfast restaurants in Brunswick when it comes to the food, it just could use some more employees and updated seating.

I was pleasantly surprised with this restaurant that I didn’t even know was here (despite living in the area for 7 years). It has a simply but comfy dining area and our waitress was very nice and attentive. I was worried at first because the coffee was mediocre (hence 4 stars on food) but then I got my food and everything was plenty tasty. I also give them high marks for very reasonable prices (the food in my picture was only $8) and also an A+ for presentation!

The home made meatloaf is definitely not home made. It was Stouffer’s microwave meatloaf. The menu should not list it as home made. It was otherwise good.

Food and service was great! Unfortunately the place is very dirty. Lots of dust everywhere in the restaurant itself and the ladies room was filthy. Told the waitress about the condition of the restroom and no one did anything about it even though there’s only 2 people here beside us.
