Wow. Everytime we come here the food always gets better. The chef is constantly updating the recipes based on customer feedback. It’s a very cozy place and everyone is awesome, especially Jordana! Great selection of tequila. Make this your go-to place. Just make a reservation first.

Nice little eatery and bar next to the Glen Head train station. The inside is a bit dark as a tavern is expected but there is outdoor seating, though take note that section is not always open so call ahead to ask. The food is delicious, local fresh seafood with a creative twist. We recommend the steamed mussels which has chorizo in the mix, adding a nice spicy kick. All the dishes we had were very good and hearty, and our server is enthusiastic and knows the menu well. Recommended!

Heirloom tavern is a true local gem talked away by the glen head train station with incredible service and even better food! My family and I have gone multiple times, tried different dishes every time and it never disappoints. Great bar like atmosphere but also candle lit tables as well, place is cozy and warm. Soups, salads, appetizers, main courses , everything is always on point, perfectly temped, and delicious. Go hungry and try everything!

Excellent food. A little tight in the restaurant but the atmosphere was great and you could tallk and listen to others in your party easily. I would definitely go back. It was accessible to my elderly mother with a walker. Staff very friendly and provided great service.

Delisious food and the best service ever. Peter is fantastic, very attentive and fun to be around! He made us feel so special! The suggestions he made for the entree choices turned out to be even more exciting than we imagined! The prices are very modest and it was great to try different things and still not break the bank! Kudos to chef and everyone who made this experience superb for us! It’s on my list of favorite places now.

Came here on a Wednesday night. No wait time. At where I wanted near the window in the high table. Romantic. The waiter was very informative and accommodating. Very nice ambience and atmosphere. Truly feels like you’re in a tavern. There is a bar as well. The prices are very modest. There’s a special menu and their usual menu.
Fresh warm bread and butter/ oil that’s complimentary. Loved the special burger! It melted in your mouth! Highly recommend the burger.
Had the pinot noir from Oregon, it was nice with the meal.
I wasn’t a big fan of the asparagus brie sandwich, it was very heavy. But it was q very unique item on the menu, so definitely wanted to try it.

What a phenomenal meal!… The food was fantastic… The service was fantastic… Everything just perfect.
Started off with a wedge salad and clams oreganata… both were excellent.
My wife had the skirt steak done with a chimichuri sauce and I had the NY strip with a peppercorn sauce… again… Both excellent!
Dessert… Holy hell!!! Unbelievable!!!… Beignets topped with homemade vanilla ice cream and a belgium chocolate sauce… Not sure what to even say… It was ridiculously good!

Came here for lunch. Was seated immediately, they only had one waiter but she was very efficient. We got the Special brie burger and The french onion burger, both were delicious. But the show stoppers were the fries which were out of this world and the flour less chocolate cake. The summer shandy on tap was refreshing.
