I recently visited Dynasty and had an excellent experience. The dim sum was outstanding, and every dish I tried was absolutely delicious and authentic. The service was impressively fast, ensuring the food arrived fresh and hot.
The ambiance was also a highligh. It has a great atmosphere. This is definitely a spot worth visiting if you’re looking for high-quality dim sum and efficient service.

Dim Sum that hits the spot bright and early!

We had a little bit of everything as adults (elders) picked out everything since they know more about it! Everything was fresh made to order which is the best part. Can get a little hectic but welcome to the family!

We also came to dinner one night and everything that was ordered was extremely fresh & delicious.

Staff is very friendly, quick to serve and made sure we had everything we needed!

Arrive early because it can get extremely packed as they do not accept reservations beforehand!

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

For the past five birthdays, I’ve made it a tradition to celebrate with a king crab — because once you’ve had it, you never forget that incredible taste. This year, I decided to try Dynasty in Chinatown, and it completely exceeded my expectations.

We heard they often sell out, so we reserved our king crab a week in advance. The staff recommended preparing it three ways — salt & pepper, garlic with vermicelli, and crab meat fried rice — and every dish was beyond amazing. My friends, who come from different backgrounds and had never tried fresh king crab before, were blown away. Seeing their reactions reminded me exactly why I fell in love with it years ago.

What makes Dynasty even more special is their authentic Cantonese cooking. Every dish tasted like it was made with care and tradition. Their all-day dim sum is another highlight — fresh, flavorful, and clearly made in-house, not from a commercial kitchen.

The restaurant is clean, beautifully kept, and the team was kind and respectful, even with a full house. We only had to ask once for a water refill, which is completely understandable on a busy night.

Overall, Dynasty left such a lasting impression — not just for the incredible food, but for the experience itself. It’s a place that brings people together over authentic flavors and unforgettable moments.

Excellent dim sum. Probably the best we had in Boston in a long time. We don’t have to drive to Portland Maine to have San Francisco quality of dim sum. The only thing they are missing we love in Empire in Portland is Duck bun (duck bao bun). Dynasty dim sum was plump fresh and delicious. There are no carts, but the selections are numerous. Soup dumpling were very tasty. A lot of shrimp options. Total bill for two was 85 before tip, 101 with tip.

Easily the best Dim Sum in Boston, Dynasty is at San Francisco levels.
We had everything shrimp and scallop, very fresh, overall excellent. We also had the Minion buns and the piggy buns. They are very cute but just OK, not outstanding like the rest of the dumplings.

Loved it!

We went to Boston’s Chinatown last night to have dinner at Dynasty.

One of the four of us is Chinese and she knew what to order and was able to speak (Cantonese) with the staff.

We ordered a couple of mains and then a number of Dim Sum dishes. I enjoyed them all.

The service here was very quick. Dishes came out fast, fresh pots of hot tea magically kept appearing. Finished dishes were quickly cleared from the table.

And we felt for all the food we got, the fresh, authentic flavors of it all – that the cost was quite reasonable.

I’d return to Dynasty!

A very good traditional Cantonese dim sum. This is the second time I ate here when visiting Boston and I do enjoy this place. It was Friday lunch time and it was surprisingly not busy. Honestly most dim sum places in Boston are all quite good

We were looking for some good dim sum in Chinatown and found this place. It has a clean, modern vibe which is unusual for legit dim sum places. You order off a checklist menu, so no carts rolling around, but everything came out hot and fresh. This is what we ordered.

1. Char siu sou bbq pork flaky pastry – OMG. These were so buttery, flaky and melt in your mouth. I wish I got more orders. This was by far my favorite dish. I’m still dreaming about it.
2. Har Gow Shrimp Dumplings – these were solid. Piping hot and delicious.
3. Siu mai pork and shrimp dumplings – also solid. Large and juicy.
4. Bean curd rolls with pork in oyster sauce – I didn’t love these. They were kind of chewy.
5. BBQ pork noodles rolls – very light and yummy
6. Xiao long bao soup dumplings – these were not too soupy but had good flavor.
7. Molten egg yolk buns—These were surprisingly delicious. The molten yolk oozed out when I punctured them.
8. Red bean minion buns – almost too cute to eat, but they were yummy

The service was quick and friendly, but we had to ask for a lot of things because there were no condiments on the table. Parking in that area is a nightmare, but that’s Chinatown for you. I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in town.

Come early or be prepared to wait. Food is traditional Cantonese which is getting crowded out by hot pot and spicy foods all over Chinatown. Dim Sum is delicious, Buddha’s Delight Chow Fun has wok breath and a large portion to boot. Jelly fish, shrimp and chive dumplings, tofu rice rolls, choy sum all good. They speak Cantonese here too.

Dim sum was great. Staff were friendly and good enough service.

The bill for our 4 dishes was just over $30. Cheap price here but not cheap experience.

Only tried one other dim sum restaurant in Boston Chinatown but I recommend this place over the other by far.
