I was slightly concerned because the last road to the restaurant is super bumpy and dark, but once we arrived the staff was very welcoming. The food took all my worries away. So flavorful but balanced, exactly what Japanese cuisine is known for! Everything was so fresh. We ordered many dishes and hard to pick favorites because we loved it so much. Have to say we were lucky that everything was available & in season.

Don’t miss out on the nigiri set & sashimi if you are a sushi lover. We also enjoyed the tako carpaccio. And I’m sure even if you don’t like tofu normally, you will enjoy the agedashi tofu.

Only downside is that since it the location is so out of the way we were nervous about mosquitoes & other bugs. But so worth it, bring insect repellent and go eat!

The food was very good, fresh and served with a lot of love! The service was excellent and the waitress very attentive and lovely.
We had several appetisers to share and finished it up with the most delicious matcha ice cream I have ever had!! Would defined go back here!
The road to get there is bumpy and the place a bit remote but it’s so much worth the visit.

This has been the best eating experience of my time in Bohol. The sushi rolls were the best I’ve ever eaten (including Japan) and the glass noodle spring rolls were perfect.
The staff were efficient, kind and competent. I came for lunch but will try dinner next time. It’s so worth coming out from Alona.

They have plenty of options and genuinely tasty, authentic Japanese dishes. We really loved the food and the lovely staff. The best time to dine is in the evening, simply because, in my opinion, it’s a bit cooler then and helps you avoid flies since their restaurant is in an open space.

Owned by a Japanese dive instructor in Japan that ventured into gastronomy serving authentic Japanese cuisine. Food is fresh, prepared well and great presentation. I could tell how she takes pride in her culinary skills. Good price and generous amount of serving. The place is open , so no air conditioning. The place’s name of Udzuki literally means “rabbit in the moon”. Place is a hidden gem along unpaved road that has a small signage .

Very tasty food, carefully made and arranged, authentic food. Vegan options available and we’re vary tasty. We had agedashi tofu, gyoza, mabo tofu and kakiage upon. All dishes were great. It is japanese-owned and the woman who is the owner was very kind. The server was very accommodating and offered to take a picture for us of this beautiful memory. Very recommendable place to eat!

If you were as lucky as I was to find this place, don’t miss it. It’s a nice shortcut to Japan. The food is absolutely delicious “fresh tuna sashimi”, no doubt of freshness, and kakiage soba, so .
Service was also perfect and situation away from the city is giving some fresh air, very enjoyable

Authentic Japanese flavor! The sashimi is fresh! There seems to be aged sashimi too. The mapo tofu is so delicious that I even drank the sauce, and the dumplings are super crispy and tasty!
