I’ve been a regular customer at DIG for the past year and I’ve completely fazed out CAVA because DIG has been so much better… that is until tonight. The sweet potatoes are typically very well cooked and mushy as I like them. However, tonight they were like biting into a rock and were burnt as shown in the picture. Please do not let me down. I want to be loyal to you guys.

Rude staff alert! And super sticky floors. Always liked the food here but did I deserve a sticky floor upon entering the restaurant? Or did I deserve shouting from the staff telling me to wait when I tried to pick up my own order??? If this dude (pictured) has issues he needs to deal with it outside work, not unload it on customers. Peace!

Came here on a Thursday for lunch. It was pretty much empty so there was no line. I got the Classic Dig bowl while my sister got the Hot Honey Chicken bowl. The portions are pretty hefty and I got too full to finish it.
The space is bright and open, with two bathrooms available.

I’m just relaying that I got food poisoning from here I’m 99 percent sure. Which sucks, cuz I love dig, never had a bad experience before, and I’m only sharing this so that if anyone else experienced the same they atleast can relay it as well because something was very wrong with me since my visit. Again, for anyone else’s future reference. Good luck!

Used to be a great place, but I’m not sure what’s happening to it. They never answer the phone. The food is often cold. Their employees are rude. They’re getting rid of most of their items (no more mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, or crispy chicken) and running a bare bones menu now. Basically just regular chicken, rice, and greens. It’s a shame because this used to be one of my favorite restaurants in the area.

Went in last night. Rude staff. Out of most items. Lady making the bowls just put whatever she felt like in them. Two of us got Mac and cheese although no one ordered any. We were ignored when we tried to tell them it was wrong. All the food was cold. Menus, floors, and tables were sticky. Water cups were dirty. Same lady who made the bowls stared at us the entire time we ate, almost like she was trying to intimidate us to leave the restaurant that didn’t close for another 2 hours.

Wow! Dig right in! Loved their approach to having a limited menu and be seasonal too. Too many places have ended up giving far too many options and that is something that Dig doesn’t do. Limited choice menu, keeps quality levels high and makes for great food everyday. Was impressed by the food and the decor. Definitely recommending this place to my friends.

Dig is my favorite lunch spot in Cambridge! The food is fresh, healthy, and really tasty. I love their carrots, kale salad and salmon. My bowl is always the same, and it tastes great every time!

I have eaten at multiple DIG joints and I really like the bowls- their carrots and veggies are nicely grilled.
3 star because the service was disappointing. It looked like the guy was doing us a favour. The bowl was smaller (half filled) than other places I have eaten. I had to ask three times for him to tell me what sauces do they have. I asked for salmon and he said wait is 5-7 min. I was ok with that. Then two servers asked me 3 times if I was sure I wanted to wait. It seemed like they were in a rush to get done with my order.
Not a good experience

The vegetables very a bit over burned compared to Boylston st branch. Also, the store was too cold. Price is good at $10.50 for chicken thigh (which unfortunately was not well done and felt raw), mix of kale and brown rice for base, and cauliflower and Mac and cheese for side. I don’t think I’d come back as a customer unfortunately despite loving the original Dig Inn at Boylston st.
